Dialogue

 1  Prot|      I said, if you give him money, and make friends with him,
 2  Prot|      and will be paying your money to him, what is he to whom
 3  Prot|  were about to give him your money, and some one had said to
 4  Prot|  said to you: You are paying money to your namesake Hippocrates,
 5  Prot|      is he that you give him money? how would you have answered?~
 6  Prot|      he replied, that I gave money to him as a physician.~And
 7  Prot|  were intending to give them money, and some one had asked
 8  Prot|    why do you give them this money?—how would you have answered?~
 9  Prot|      we are ready to pay him money on your behalf. If our own
10  Prot|     then we are to spend the money of your friends as well.
11  Prot|     are you going to pay him money,—how should we answer? I
12  Prot|      we are going to pay our money to him in the character
13  Prot|   and I give my pupils their money’s-worth, and even more,
14  Prot| things—you take care of your money and give them none; and
