 5  Prot|     but painful?’—they would assent to me?~He agreed.~‘And do
 6  Prot|     and even? The world will assent, will they not?~Protagoras
 7  Prot|      is cowardice?~He nodded assent.~But surely courage, I said,
 8  Prot|      To that again he nodded assent.~And the ignorance of them
 9  Prot|      very reluctantly nodded assent.~And the knowledge of that
10  Prot| point he would no longer nod assent, but was silent.~And why,
11  Prot|       I said, do you neither assent nor dissent, Protagoras?~
