Dialogue

 1 Repub|     are to be allowed by us to imitate, and if so, whether in whole
 2 Repub|      imitation; no one man can imitate many things as well as he
 3 Repub|     things as well as he would imitate a single one? ~He cannot. ~
 4 Repub|     time to be an imitator and imitate many other parts as well;
 5 Repub|       ought not to practise or imitate anything else; if they imitate

19 Repub|      of such insanity; he will imitate the dialectician who is
20 Repub|   whether he may be thought to imitate that which originally exists
21 Repub|    their nature only enough to imitate them; and other people,
22 Repub|       be expected therefore to imitate only that which appears
23 Repub|        equable, is not easy to imitate or to appreciate when imitated,
