Dialogue

 1 Intro|    Sophist.~Again, there is a third line, in which a Sophist
 2 Intro|       say to them: Is being a third element besides hot and
 3 Intro|  assert the existence of some third thing, different from them
 4 Intro|    thus seen to be false. The third (3) remains, which affirms
 5 Intro|  Agreeing in the truth of the third hypothesis, that some things
 6 Intro|       to the proposition, the third to the syllogism. These
 7 Intro|      the word ‘has been,’ the third to the words ‘has been’
 8 Intro|   mediated by reflection, the third or highest returns into
 9  Soph|  STRANGER: And there may be a third reappearance of him;—for
10  Soph|   Certainly.~STRANGER: In the third place, he has turned out
11  Soph|     do so.~STRANGER: I have a third little request which I wish
12  Soph|       suppose that there is a third principle over and above
13  Soph|     conceive of being as some third and distinct nature, under
14  Soph| intimation that being is some third thing, when we say that
15  Soph|       STRANGER: Then only the third hypothesis remains.~THEAETETUS:
