 4 Intro|         the human body is not a mere vagary, but is a natural
 5 Intro|   nature. God and the world are mere names, like the Being of
 6 Intro|     worlds, one of which is the mere double of the other, or
 7 Intro|  whether in Plato or in Kant, a mere negative residuum of human
 8 Intro|        retain an enthusiasm for mere negations. In different
 9 Intro|         are consistent with the mere passive causation of them,
10 Timae|    imagine that the union was a mere accident, and was to be
11 Timae| authority of Solon, to be not a mere legend, but an actual fact?~
