 2 5| beautiful may be more or less beautiful than some other beautiful
 3 5|     beautiful than some other beautiful object. The same quality,
 4 7|    knows that a thing is more beautiful, it follows necessarily
 5 7|    also than which it is more beautiful. He will not merely know
 6 7|  indefinitely that it is more beautiful than something which is
 7 7|       something which is less beautiful, for this would be supposition,
 8 7|    that than which it is more beautiful, he can no longer claim
 9 7|    definitely that it is more beautiful than something else which
10 7|  something else which is less beautiful: for it might be that nothing
11 7|      be that nothing was less beautiful. It is, therefore, evident
