Book, Paragraph

 1   I,  8 | harmony; for to virtue belongs virtuous activity. But it makes,
 2   I,  8 |      of justice and in general virtuous acts to the lover of virtue.
 3   I,  8 |        by nature pleasant; and virtuous actions are such, so that
 4   I,  8 |    other cases. If this is so, virtuous actions must be in themselves
 5   I,  9 |       it has been said to be a virtuous activity of soul, of a certain
 6   I,  10|       as mere additions, while virtuous activities or their opposites
 7   I,  10|      has so much permanence as virtuous activities (these are thought

23  IX,  9 |       we have said, is for the virtuous man good and pleasant in
24  IX,  9 |    nature is also good for the virtuous man (which is the reason
25  IX,  9 |    itself good); and if as the virtuous man is to himself, he is
26  IX,  9 |      happy will therefore need virtuous friends.~
