2 1|         plain therefore that this affection, which we name "dreaming",
3 1|   intelligence, but yet is not an affection of the faculty of perception
4 1|     indeed clear enough, that the affection [of dreaming] pertains to
5 2|   sense-perception in us, and the affection due to their operation is
6 2|           and this propagates the affection continuously onwards until
7 2|     change. This explains why the affection continues in the sensory
8 2| perceptive activity, the previous affection remains; for instance, when
9 3|          but also then, when this affection which is called sleep has
