20   I, 10|        Either, then, there is no "combination", or we have still to explain
21   I, 10|           effect produced is not "combination", but increase of the dominant:
22   I, 10|     compound resulting from their combination is either no greater in
23   I, 10|          foregoing account, that "combination" occurs, what it is, to
24   I, 10|  absolutely unaltered: and their "combination" need not be a "composition",
