THUGAMAID ADHRADH GU SÌORRAIDH
THUGAMAID ADHRADH
GU SÌORRAIDH, is based
on the latin hymn ADOREMUS IN ETERNUM and has the same melody. In the past this
hymn would be sung during Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament. The hymn
Laudate Dominum is based on psalm 117 (116). The translator into Gaidhlig is
unknown.
|
This is a loose translation of the
hymn. It's purpose is simply to give
the English sense of the words.
