Amott egy agg cserfa zöldűl,
Tetejében vadgalamb űl,
Ott űl, ott űl s oly búsan szól,
Hogy a levél hull az ágról.

Dõre madár, mért e bánat?
Hol tanúltad a nótámat?
Mert a bú, mit szerelem szûl,
Nekem jutott csak egyedûl.
