Lis agitur, surdusque reus, surdus fuit actor.

Ipse tamen iudex surdus utroque magis.

Pro aedibus hic petit aes, quinto iam mense peracto.

Ille refert, «Tota nocte mihi acta mola est.»

Aspicit hos iudex, et «Quid contenditis?» inquit.

«An non utrique est mater? Utrique alite.»
