Hic Isidorus ponit etymologiam iuris, prout habetur in re, non prout est generale nomen.

Ius dictum est a iure possidendo. Hoc enim iure possidetur, quod iuste, hoc iuste, quod bene; quod autem male possidetur, alienum est. Male autem possidet, qui vel suis male utitur, vel aliena praesumit.
