Crimen nunc probatum repellit testem alias de illo crimine non damnatum.

 

Idem Cantuariensi Archiepiscopo.

 

Super eo vero, quod quaesivisti a nobis, utrum testes illi sint reprobandi in causa criminali vel civili quibus ab adversa parte crimina opponuntur tuae prudentiae respondemus, quod, si etiam ante non sunt convicti vel confessi de criminibus illis, dummodo inde convincantur, in testi­monium non debent admitti.
