vaso puruspRhaM rayim
mA no arAtirIshata devasya martyasya ca
parSi tasyA utadviSaH
vishvA uta tvayA vayaM dhArA udanyA iva
ati gAhemahi dviSaH
shuciH pAvaka vandyo.agne bRhad vi rocase
tvaM ghRtebhirAhutaH
tvaM no asi bhAratAgne vashAbhirukSabhiH
aSTApadIbhirAhutaH
drvannaH sarpirAsutiH pratno hotA vareNyaH
sahasas putro adbhutaH
