sphāyī opyāyī vr̥ddhau ity asay dhātoḥ niṣṭhāyāṃ parataḥ sphī ity ayam ādeśo bhavati /

sphītavān /
niṣthāyām iti kim ? shātiḥ /
sphātībhavati ity etad api ktinnantasya+eva rūpaṃ, na niṣthāntasya /
niṣṭhāyām ity etad adhīkrīyate liṅyaṅoś ca (*6,1.29) iti prāgetasmāt sūtrāt //
