caraṇe gamyamāne brahmacāriṇi uttarapade samānasya sa ity ayam ādeśo bhavati /
samāno brahmacārī sabrahamacārī /
brahma vedaḥ, tadadhyayanārthaṃ yad vrataṃ tad api brahma, tac carati iti brahamacārī /
samānaḥ tasya+eva brahmaṇeḥ samānatvad ity ayam artho bhavati /
samāne brahmaṇi vratacarī sabrahmacarī iti //
