kārmaḥ iti tācchīlye ṭilopo nipātyate /
karmaśīlaḥ kārmaḥ /
śīlam, chatrādibhyo ṇaḥ (*4,4.61) iti ṇapratyayaḥ /
yady evaṃ kim artham idam, nas taddhite (*6,4.144) ity eva ṭilopaḥ siddhaḥ ? satyam etat /
jñāpakārtham tu /
etaj jñāpayati tācchīlike ṇe 'ṇkr̥tāni bhavanti iti /
tena caurī, tāpasī iti ṇāntād api īkāraḥ siddho bhavati /
tācchīlye iti kim ? karmaṇaḥ idaṃ kārmaṇam //
