ehi manye ity anena yuktaṃ lr̥ḍantaṃ nānudāttaṃ bhavati prahāse /
prakr̥ṣṭo hāsaḥ prahāsaḥ, krīḍā /
ehi manye odanaṃ bhokṣyase, na hi bhokṣyase, bhuktaḥ so 'tithibhiḥ /
ehi manye rathena yāsyasi, na hi yāsyasi, yātastena te pitā /
prahāse iti kim ? ehi manyase odanaṃ bhokṣye iti /
suṣṭhu manyase /
sādhu manyase /
gatyarthaloṭā lr̥ṭ ity eva siddhe satyārambho niyamārthaḥ, ehimanyeyukte prahāse eva yathā syāt, anyatra mā bhūt iti , ehi manyase odanaṃ bhokṣye iti /
ehi manye ity uttamopādānam atantram /
prahāse eva hi manyater uttamo vihitaḥ, tato 'nyatra madhyama eva bhavati /
tatra anena niyamena nivr̥ttiḥ kriyate, ehi manyase odanaṃ bhokṣye iti //
