chandasi viṣaye caturthy-arthe ṣaṣthī vibhaktir bhavati bahulam /
puruṣamr̥gaścandramasaḥ /
puruṣamr̥gaścandramase /
godhā kālakā dārvāghāṭaste vanaspatīnām /
te vanaspatibhyaḥ /
bahula-grahaṇaṃ kim ? kr̥ṣṇo rātryai /
himavate hastī /
ṣaṣṭhyarthe caturthī vaktavyā /
yā kharveṇa pivati tasyai kharvo jāyate /
yā dato dhāvate tasyai śyāvadan /
yā nakhāni nikr̥ntate tasyai kunakhī /
yā 'ṅkte tasyai kāṇaḥ /
yā 'bhyaṅkte tasyai duścarmā /
yā keśān pralikhate tasyai khalatiḥ /
ahalyāyai jāraḥ //
