prāṇināṃ samudāyaḥ saṅghaḥ /
sa ca dvābhyāṃ prakārābhyāṃ bhavati /
ekadharma-samāveśena, auttarādharyeṇa vā /
tatra auttarādharya-paryudāsād itaro gr̥hyate /
saṅghe vācye cinoter dhātoḥ ghañ pratyayo bhavati ādeś ca kaḥ /
bhikṣukanikāyaḥ /
brāhmaṇanikāyaḥ /
vaiyākaraṇanikāyaḥ /
anauttarādharye iti kim ? sūkaranicayaḥ /
prāṇiviṣayatvāt saṅghasya+iha na bhavati /
