ṇau iti vartate, hetubhaye iti ca /
nityagrahaṇād vibhāṣā iti nivr̥ttam /
ṣmiṅ īṣaddhasane ity asya dhātoḥ hetubhaye 'rthe ṇau parato nityamakārādeśo bhavati /
muṇḍo vismāpayate /
jaṭilo vismāpayate /
bhaye iti kim ? kuñcikayā enaṃ vismāpayati /
bhayaśabdena hetvarthasāmānyā, iha smayater artho 'bhidhīyate /
na hi mukhye bhaye smayater vr̥ttir asti //
