neḥ paramuttarapadam antodāttaṃ bhavati anidhāne /
nidhānam aprakāśatā /
animūlam nyakṣam /
nitr̥ṇam /
bahuvrīhir ayaṃ prādisamāso vā /
avyayībhāve tu samāsāntodāttatvena+eva siddham /
anidhāne iti kim ? nivāgvr̥ṣalaḥ /
nidaṇḍaḥ /
nihitavāk, nihitadaṇḍaḥ ity arthaḥ /
niśabdo 'tra nidhānārthaṃ bravīti /
pradayo hi vr̥ttiviṣaye sasādhanāṃ kriyāmāhuḥ //
