chāder aṅgasya advyupasargasya ghapratyaye parataḥ upadhāyāḥ hrasvo bhavati /
uraśchadaḥ pracchadaḥ /
dantacchadaḥ /
ṇilopasya asiddhatvaṃ sthānivadbhāvo vāvacanasāmarthyād atra na bhavati iti hrasvabhāvinī upadhā bhavati /
advyupasargasya iti kim ? samupacchādaḥ /
adviprabhr̥tyupasargasya iti vaktavyam /
samupāticchādaḥ /
uttarā hi saṅkhyā pūrvasaṅkhyākr̥taṃ vyapadeśam nivartayati, nahi triputro dviputraḥ iti vyapadiśyate //
