tāsau ye nityāniṭo dhātavaḥ ajantāḥ, tebhyastāsāviva thali iḍāgamo na bhavati /
yātā - yayātha /
cetā - cicetha /
netā - ninetha /
hotā - juhotha /
acaḥ iti kim ? bhettā - bibheditha /
tāsvat iti kim ? lūtvā - lulavitha /
thali iti kim ? yātā - yayiva /
yayima /
aniḍgrahaṇaṃ nityam ity anena viśeṣaṇārtham /
nityagrahaṇaṃ kim ? vidhotā, vidhavitā - vidudhavitha /
tāsi vibhāṣiteṭ, thali nityam iḍāgamo bhavati /
tāsvat iti vatinirdeśaḥ kimarthaḥ ? tāsau tatasthali pratiṣedhārthaḥ /
yo hi tāsāvasan, asattvāc ca nityāniṭ, tasya thali pratiṣedho na bhavati /
jaghasitha /
uvayitha /
uttarasūtre 'pi tāsvaditi vartate /
adādeśo hi ghasiḥ, veñādeśaś ca vayistāsau na asti //
