Pre, 0, 4| or innate, or also as a Son of God or not: for these

I, I, 2| inhabiting along with His Son those souls which are rendered

I, I, 8| one the Father, save the Son." By which it is clearly
I, I, 8| between the Father and the Son, a knowing and being known,
I, I, 8| said to be seen by the Son, nor the Son by the Father,
I, I, 8| seen by the Son, nor the Son by the Father, but the one
I, II, 1| being the only-begotten Son of God is one thing, and
I, II, 1| ascertain what the only-begotten Son of God is, seeing He is
I, II, 2| understood that the only-begotten Son of God is His wisdom hypostatically
I, II, 2| Father of His only-begotten Son, who was born indeed of
I, II, 4| 4. This Son, accordingly, is also the
I, II, 4| applied and understood of the Son of God, in virtue of His
I, II, 4| generation of His only-begotten Son, and in the substance of
I, II, 4| Father of the only-begotten Son. Because His generation

I, II, 6| then, in virtue of the Son doing all things like the
I, II, 6| the Father formed in the Son, who is born of Him, like
I, II, 6| also the existence of the Son is generated by Him. For
I, II, 6| supposed as having begotten the Son, His own image; namely,
I, II, 6| that was invisible. For the Son is the Word, and therefore
I, II, 6| whom no one knows save the Son, and he to whom the Son

I, II, 8| Consider, then, whether the Son of God, seeing He is His

I, II, 8| some such similitude, the Son of God, divesting Himself
I, II, 8| purpose than to show that the Son of God, though placed in
I, II, 10| father without having a son, nor a master without possessing
I, II, 10| that Wisdom, which is the Son of God, is the purest efflux
I, II, 10| Father; for it is through the Son that the Father is almighty.
I, II, 10| omnipotence of Father and Son is one and the same, as
I, II, 10| to be offended that the Son of God is also cared omnipotent.
I, II, 10| doubtless the only-begotten Son ought to be omnipotent,
I, II, 10| be omnipotent, that the Son also may have all things
I, II, 10| which is His only-begotten Son, being in all respects incapable
I, II, 11| that the existence of the Son is derived from the Father
I, II, 12| doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise." And again He
I, II, 12| again He says, that the Son cannot do anything of Himself,
I, II, 12| Father do. As therefore the Son in no respect differs from
I, II, 12| works, and the work of the Son is not a different thing
I, II, 12| dissimilarity whatever between the Son and the Father. How, indeed,
I, II, 12| those things are made by the Son in bodily material which
I, II, 12| seeing in the Gospel the Son is said to do not similar
I, II, 13| doubtless, out of which the Son is born, who, being in all

I, II, 13| might appear to be in the Son a different goodness from
I, II, 13| difference of goodness in the Son. And therefore it is not
I, II, 13| Father, from whom both the Son is born and the Holy Spirit

I, III, 4| obtained by revelation of the Son through the Holy Spirit,
I, III, 4| For as it is said of the Son, that "no one knoweth the
I, III, 4| knoweth the Father but the Son, and he to whom the Son

I, III, 4| therefore, that as the Son, who alone knows the Father,
I, III, 4| through revelation from the Son. For if the Holy Spirit
I, III, 4| knows the Father through the Son's revelation, He passes
