Chapter

 1     XV|       born, not of corruptible [seed], but of incorruptible?
 2    XVI|         Not Received from Human Seed, Although as Entirely Human
 3    XVI|         that it came not of the seed of a human father, let them
 4    XVI|       flesh of ours without the seed of a human father. As earth
 5    XVI|       flesh of ours without the seed of a human father, so also
 6  XXVII|         however, of the ancient seed, in order that He might
 7  XXVII|      might reform it with a new seed, that is, in a spiritual
 8  XXVII|        no human labour, with no seed as yet cast into its furrows,
 9  XXVII|       word afterwards became as seed to her that she should conceive
10 XXVIII|        born of a human father's seed, lest, if He were wholly
11 XXVIII|             of God the Father's seed, that is to say, the Spirit ---- [
12 XXVIII|        flesh of man without the seed of a man; for the seed of
13 XXVIII|      the seed of a man; for the seed of a man was unnecessary
14 XXVIII| unnecessary for One who had the seed of God. As, then, before
15 XXVIII|           flesh (I say) without seed from man, Spirit with seed
16 XXVIII|      seed from man, Spirit with seed from God. For as much, then,
17 XXVIII|         so made of the (divine) seed itself, the Scripture must
18    XIX|    existence of that mysterious seed of the elect and spiritual
19    XIX|      but only the matter of the seed, which, as all know, is
20    XXI|        became flesh without the seed of a human father, so there
21    XXI|     flesh, although not born of seed, should yet have proceeded
22    XXI|          of course, and not the seed of man, and in order, certainly,
23   XXII|         Christ "was made of the seed of David, according to the
24   XXII|      flesh, then, is of David's seed. Since He is of the seed
25   XXII|        seed. Since He is of the seed of David in consequence
26   XXII|     Mary's flesh because of the seed of David. [4] In what way
27   XXII|    flesh of Mary because of the seed of David, or He is of the
28   XXII|       of David, or He is of the seed of David because of the
29   XXII|      declares Christ to be "the seed of Abraham." And if of Abraham,
30   XXII|         of Abraham, "And in thy seed shall all nations of the
31   XXII|       but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ." [6] When
32   XXII|         s, since Christ is "the seed of Abraham; "none other
33  XXIII|        Him not from a husband's seed; she was "a virgin," so
