Chapter

 1      V|   should die? that He should bear the flesh, or the cross?
 2    VII|  that he may have himself to bear the shame of the temptation. [
 3     IX|    in Him purloined from the Bear, and the Pleiades, and the
 4    XIV|    object, therefore, did He bear the angelic nature, if it
 5  XXVII|    virgin shall conceive and bear a son." Accordingly, a virgin
 6  XXVII|      virgin did conceive and bear "Emmanuel, God with us." [
 7    XIX|     within one, if He was to bear forth nothing from it. Not
 8  XXIII|    virgin shall conceive and bear a son." [2] We discover,
 9  XXIII| virgin bare, and yet did not bear; "just as if such language,
10  XXIII|   flesh and "yet she did not bear," since she produced Him
11  XXIII|      the reason "she did not bear," she who was "not a virgin"
12  XXIII|       She shall conceive and bear a son." ~
