Part, Sura

 1  I          |   his hearers by examples, promises, and warnings; he addresses
 2  I          |  expressly included in the promises of a reward in the future
 3  I          |   Qurâis in spite of their promises and of the examples around
 4  I,       II|    be praised.~ ~The devil promises you poverty and bids you
 5  I,       II|  and bids you sin, but God promises you pardon from Him and
 6  I,      III|    Thou dost not break Thy promises!' And the Lord shall answer
 7  I,       IV|   with a manifest loss. He promises them, and stirs up vain
 8  I,       IV| within them; but the devil promises only to deceive.~ ~[120]
