Part, Sura

1  I          |     guardianship of his son Abu Tâlib, afterwards one of the most
2  I          |   believed; his cousin Ali, Abu Tâlib's youngest son, whom Mohammed
3  I          |  vengeance of his protector Abu Tâlib and his clan. A deputation
4  I          |       therefore waited upon Abu Tâlib and begged him to enforce
5  I          | vengeance of his foes. This Abu Tâlib firmly but politely refused
6  I          |     place. But the kind old Abu Tâlib, moved at his nephew's tears,
7  I          |         si'b or 'ravine' of Abu Tâlib, a long and narrow defile
8  I          |     appeal of the venerable Abu Tâlib and allowed the prisoners
9  I          |         uncle and protector Abu Tâlib died not long after 'Hadîgah.~ ~
