1  I          |       XLIV. THE CHAPTER OF SMOKE. (Mecca.)~ ~Night of the
2  I          |    of the last day, when a smoke shall cover the heavens,
3 II,      XLI|  the heaven and it was but smoke, and He said to it and to
4 II,     XLIV|             THE CHAPTER OF SMOKE.~ ~(XLIV. Mecca.)~ ~IN the
5 II,     XLIV| heaven shall bring obvious smoke [10] to cover men-this is
6 II,      LVI|      And a shade of pitchy smoke,~ Neither cool nor generous!~
