Part, Sura
1 I | said, 'We are but two.' 'Nay,' said Mohammed, 'we are 2 I | Jewish nation was founded; nay, it was the truth which 3 I, II| hearts are uncircumcised;' nay, God has cursed them in 4 I, II| part of them repudiate it? Nay, most of them do not believe.~ ~[ 5 I, II| Celebrated be His praise 2! Nay, His is what is in the heavens 6 I, II| has revealed,' they say, 'Nay, we will follow what we 7 I, II| part of a day.' He said, 'Nay, thou hast tarried a hundred 8 I, III| will retreat the losers. Nay, God is your Lord, He is 9 I, III| that it is best for them;-nay, it is worse for them. What 10 I, IV| those who purify themselves? nay, God purifies whom He will, 11 I, IV| hearts are uncircumcised,'-nay, God hath stamped on them 12 I, IV| kill~ ~ ./. him, for sure! nay, God raised him up unto 13 I, V| punish you for your sins? nay, ye are mortals of those 14 I, V| cursed for what they said; nay! His hands are outspread, 15 I, VI| would be of the believers?' Nay! now is shown to them what 16 I, VI| if ye do tell the truth?' Nay, it is on Him that ye would 17 I, VII| therewith; they are like cattle, nay, they go more astray! these 18 I, XI| any preference over us; nay more,~ ~ ./. we think you 19 I, XII| blood upon it. Said he, 'Nay, but your souls have induced 20 I, XII| the truth.'~ ~Said he, 'Nay, your souls have induced 21 I, XIII| the dead made to speak 1-nay, God's is the command altogether! 22 I, XIII| that ye call upon them)?~ ~'Nay, then, stratagem. is made 23 I, XV| eyesight is only intoxicated; nay, we are an enchanted people!'~ ~ 24 I, XV| recognise not.' They said, 'Nay, but we have come to thee 25 I, XVI| Thou art but a forger!'-Nay, most of them do not know. 26 II, XVIII| we created you at first! nay, but ye thought that we 27 II, XVIII| hastened for them the torment. Nay rather, they have their 28 II, XX| first to throw.'~ ~He said, 'Nay, throw ye!' and lo! their 29 II, XXI| hears and knows!'~ ~[5] 'Nay!' they say,'-a jumble of 30 II, XXI| say,'-a jumble of dreams; nay! he has forged it; nay! 31 II, XXI| nay! he has forged it; nay! he is a poet; but let him 32 II, XXI| we been bent on doing so. Nay, we hurl the truth against 33 II, XXI| those who were before me.' Nay, most of them know not the 34 II, XXI| celebrated be His praise!'-Nay, honoured servants; they 35 II, XXI| they shall not be helped! Nay, it shall come on them suddenly, 36 II, XXI| day from the Merciful?' Nay, but they from the mention 37 II, XXI| abetted against us.~ ~[45] Nay, but we have granted enjoyment 38 II, XXI| those who play?'~ ~He said, 'Nay, but your Lord is Lord of 39 II, XXI| gods, O Abraham?' Said he, 'Nay, it was this largest of 40 II, XXI| we were heedless of this, nay, we were wrong-doers!~ ~ 41 II, XXIII| shall not be wronged.~ ~[65] Nay, their hearts are in a flood ( 42 II, XXIII| is possessed by a ginn?' Nay, he came to them with the 43 II, XXIII| with all who in them are!-Nay, we brought them their reminder, 44 II, XXIII| have ye then no sense?~ ~Nay, but they said like that 45 II, XXIII| ye be so infatuated?'~ ~Nay, we have brought them the 46 II, XXIV| not as an evil for you, nay, it is good for you; every 47 II, XXIV| should deal unfairly by them?-Nay, it is they who are unjust.~ ~[ 48 II, XXV| make for thee castles!~ ~Nay, but they call the Hour 49 II, XXV| have they not seen them?-nay, they do not hope to be 50 II, XXV| are only like the cattle, nay, they err more from the 51 II, XXVI| for you of your wives a nay, but ye are people who transgress!'~ ~ ./. 52 II, XXVII| than what He has given you? nay, ye in your gifts rejoice! 53 II, XXVII| augury is in God's hands; nay, but ye are a people who 54 II, XXVII| lustfully rather than women? nay! ye are a people who are 55 II, XXVII| Is there a god with God? nay, but they are a people~ ~ ./. 56 II, XXVII| is there a god with God? nay, but most of them know not! 57 II, XXVII| when they shall be raised!'-nay, but their knowledge attains 58 II, XXVII| somewhat of the hereafter; nay, but they are in doubt concerning 59 II, XXVII| in doubt concerning it! nay, but they are blind!~ ~And 60 II, XXIX| vain would have doubted. Nay, but it is evident signs 61 II, XXIX| And praise be to God!' nay, most of them have no sense.~ ~ 62 II, XXX| people who have sense 1.~ ~Nay, when those who are unjust 63 II, XXXI| beside Him have created;-nay, the unjust are in obvious 64 II, XXXI| has sent down;' they say, 'Nay! we will follow what we 65 II, XXXII| say, 'He has forged it?' Nay! it is the truth from thy 66 II, XXXII| become a new creation?' [10] Nay! in the meeting of their 67 II, XXXIV| there is a ginn in him;'-nay, those who believe not in 68 II, XXXIV| Him as partners; not so! nay, but He is God, the mighty, 69 II, XXXIV| guidance after it came to you? nay, ye were sinners.'~ ~And 70 II, XXXIV| who were, big with pride, 'Nay, but it was the plotting 71 II, XXXIV| patron instead of them. Nay, they used to worship the 72 II, XXXV| rest on a manifest sign? nay, the unjust promise each 73 II, XXXVI| if ye are reminded - ? Nay, ye are an extravagant people!'~ ~ 74 II, XXXVII| created them of sticky clay.~ ~Nay, thou dost wonder and they 75 II, XXXVII| ye not help each other?' nay, on that day they shall 76 II, XXXVII| right 1.' They shall say, 'Nay, ye were not believers, 77 II, XXXVII| any authority over you; nay, ye were an outrageous people. [ 78 II, XXXVII| for an infatuated poet?' Nay, he came with the truth, 79 II, XXXVIII| Qur'ân with its reminder! nay, but those who misbelieve 80 II, XXXVIII| upon him from amongst us?' nay, they are in doubt concerning 81 II, XXXVIII| concerning my reminder; nay, they have not yet tasted 82 II, XXXVIII| 60] They shall say, 'Nay, for you too is there no 83 II, XXXIX| similitude? praise be to God! nay, but most of them know not!~ ~ 84 II, XXXIX| given it through knowledge!' nay, it is a trial,-but most 85 II, XXXIX| those who~ ~ ./. lose!" Nay, they in doubt do play!~ ~ 92 II, XLVI| cloud to give us rain.' 'Nay, but it is what ye sought 93 II, XLVI| could draw nigh to Him? Nay! they strayed away from 94 II, XLVI| able to quicken the dead?-nay, verily, He is mighty over 95 II, XLVIII| or wish you advantage?' Nay, God of what ye do is well 96 II, XLVIII| what ye do is well aware!~ ~Nay, ye thought that the Apostle 97 II, XLVIII| before!'~ ~They will say, 'Nay! but ye envy us!' Nay! they 98 II, XLVIII| Nay! but ye envy us!' Nay! they did not understand 99 II, XLIX| becoming Muslims. Say, 'Nay! deem not that ye oblige 100 II, L| By the glorious Qur'ân! nay, they wonder that there 101 II, L| keeps (account).~ ~ ./. 5] Nay, they call the truth a lie 102 II, L| with the first creation? nay! but they are in obscurity 103 II, LII| say, 'He has invented it?'-nay, but they do not believe!~ ~ 104 II, LII| the heavens and the earth?-nay, but they are not sure!~ ~ 105 II, LIV| cast on him alone among us? nay, he is an insolent liar!~ ~' 106 II, LIV| their backs in flight 1.~ ~Nay, the Hour is their promised 107 II, LXVII| hold back His provision?-Nay, but they persist in perverseness 108 II, LXVIII| Verily, we have erred! Nay, we are forbidden (its fruit)!'~ ~ 109 II, LXX| might rescue him!~ ~[15] Nay, verily, it is a flame,- 110 II, LXX| the garden of pleasure?~ ~Nay, we created them of what 111 II, LXXIV| that I should increase! nay, verily, he is hostile to 112 II, LXXIV| reminder to mortals!~ ~[35] Nay, by the moon!~ ~And the 113 II, LXXIV| asses fleeing from a lion?~ ~Nay, every man of them wished 114 II, LXXIV| him books spread open!~ ~Nay, but they did not fear the 115 II, LXXIV| not fear the hereafter!~ ~Nay, it is a memorial! and let 116 II, LXXV| arrange his finger tips!~ ~[5] Nay, but man wishes to be wicked 117 II, LXXV| is a place to flee to?'-nay, no refuge! and to thy Lord 118 II, LXXV| sent forward or delayed!~ ~Nay, man is an evidence against 119 II, LXXV| us to explain it.~ ~[20] Nay, indeed, but ye love the 120 II, LXXV| has happened to them!~ ~Nay, but when the [soul] comes 121 II, LXXVIII| whereon they do dispute 1? nay, they shall know too well! [ 122 II, LXXVIII| know too well! [5] Again, nay, they shall know too well!~ ~ 123 II, LXXX| him thou art diverted!~ ~Nay! verily, it is a memorial; 124 II, LXXX| raise him up again.~ ~ ./. Nay, he has not fulfilled his 125 II, LXXXII| pleased composed thee?~ ~Nay, but ye call the judgment 126 II, LXXXIII| the Lord of the worlds!~ ~Nay, verily, the book of the 127 II, LXXXIII| says, 'Old folks' tales!'~ ~Nay, but that which they have 128 II, LXXXIII| settled upon their hearts.~ ~Nay, verily, [15] from their 129 II, LXXXIII| once did call a lie!'~ ~Nay, verily, the book of the 130 II, LXXXIV| read to them, do not adore? Nay, those who misbelieve do 131 II, LXXXV| of Pharaoh and Thamûd?~ ~Nay, those who misbelieve do 132 II, LXXXV| behind them-encompassing!~ ~Nay, it is a glorious Qur'ân 133 II, LXXXVII| of his Lord and prays!~ ~Nay! but ye prefer the life 134 II, LXXXIX| My Lord despises me!'~ ~Nay, but ye do not honour the 135 II, LXXXIX| with a complete love!~ ~Nay, when the earth is crushed 136 II, XCVI| man what he did not know!~ Nay, verily, man is indeed outrageous 137 II, XCVI| that God can see?~ [15] Nay, surely, if he do not desist 138 II, XCVI| call the guards of hell!~ Nay, obey him not, but adore
