Part, Sura

 1  I,       II|            than it, or one like it; dost thou not know that God is
 2  I,       II|             God is mighty over all? Dost thou not know that God's
 3  I,       II|        verily, thou art hearing and dost know. Lord! and make us
 4  I,       II|          haply ye may understand.~ ~Dost thou not look at those who
 5  I,       II|         unto Him shall ye return.~ ~Dost thou not look at the crowd
 6  I,       II|          the dead,' He said, 'What, dost thou not yet believe?' Said
 7  I,      III|           art mighty over all. Thou dost turn night to day, and dost
 8  I,      III|         dost turn night to day, and dost turn day to night, and dost
 9  I,      III|         dost turn day to night, and dost bring forth the living from
10  I,      III|           living from the dead, and dost provide for whom Thou pleasest
11  I,      III|          then from me. Verily, Thou dost hear and know.' And when
12  I,      III|         thee except so long as thou dost stand over him. That is
13  I,      III| resurrection day; for, verily, Thou dost not break Thy promises!'
14  I,        V|             those who fear. If thou dost stretch forth to me thine
15  I,       VI|             know.'~ ~ ./. When thou dost see those who plunge deeply
16  I,       VI|         said to his father Âzar 1, 'Dost thou take idols for gods?
17  I,      VII|       wronged ourselves-and if Thou dost not forgive us and have
18  I,      VII|             then bring us what thou dost threaten us with, if thou
19  I,      VII|           unto our Lord return! nor dost thou take vengeance on us,
20  I,      VII|           they said, 'Whatever thou dost bring us as a sign to enchant
21  I,      VII|          with thee; verily, if thou dost remove the plague from us,
22  I,      VII|           Thy trial, wherewith Thou dost lead astray whom Thou pleasest
23  I,      VII|            the same to them if Thou dost call them or if Thou dost
24  I,      VII|           dost call them or if Thou dost hold thy tongue.~ ~Those
25  I,     VIII|          believe; with whom if thou dost make a league, they break
26  I,       IX|         stubborn in hypocrisy; thou dost not know them-we know them;
27  I,        X|      religion towards Him, 'If thou dost save from this we will surely
28  I,        X|          nor harm thee; for if thou dost, verily, thou art then of
29  I,       XI|           nothing; and, unless Thou dost forgive me and have mercy
30  I,       XI|            we hoped in before this: dost thou forbid us to worship
31  I,       XI|       wonderful thing!' They said, 'Dost thou wonder at the bidding
32  I,      XII|            will not believe.~ ~Thou dost not ask them for it a hire;
33  I,      XIV|         That is the remote error!~ ~Dost not thou see that God created
34  I,      XIV|    salutation therein is 'Peace!'~ ~Dost thou not see how God strikes
35  I,      XIV|            God does what He will.~ ~Dost not thou see those who have
36  I,       XV|             thou art possessed. Why dost thou not bring us the angels
37  I,       XV|         bring us the angels if thou dost tell the truth?'~ ~We sent
38  I,      XVI|             done.~ ~[100] When thou dost read the Qur'ân, ask refuge
39 II,     XVII|            Lord.~ ~[30] But if thou dost turn away from them to seek
40 II,     XVII|         their ears.~ ~And when thou dost mention in the Qur'ân thy
41 II,     XVII|           out of clay?'~ ~Said he, 'Dost thou see now? this one whom
42 II,      XIX|             father, 'O my sire! why dost thou worship what can neither
43 II,      XIX|            Abraham? verily, if thou dost not desist I will certainly
44 II,      XIX|           persevere in His service. Dost thou know a namesake of
45 II,      XIX|           be opponents of theirs!~ ~Dost thou not see that we have
46 II,       XX|          much.~ ~[35] 'Verily, Thou dost ever behold us!'~ ~He said, '
47 II,      XXI|         obvious error.' They said, 'Dost thou come to us with the
48 II,    XXIII|           reminder turn aside.~ ~Or dost thou ask them for a tribute?
49 II,    XXIII|               75] And, verily, thou dost call them to a right way;
50 II,      XXV|            most from the path. [45] Dost thou consider him who takes
51 II,      XXV|           be in charge over him? or dost thou reckon that most of
52 II,      XXV|            shall we adore what thou dost order us?' and it only increases
53 II,     XXVI|         sense!'~ ~Said he, 'If thou dost take a god besides Me I
54 II,     XXVI|         They said, 'Surely, if thou dost not desist, O Lot! thou
55 II,     XXVI|             who sees thee when thou dost stand up, and thy posturing
56 II,     XXVI|         follow who go astray! [225] Dost thou not see that they wander
57 II,    XXVII|             most lose! Verily, thou dost meet with this Qur'ân from
58 II,    XXVII|           the mountains, which thou dost deem solid, pass away like
59 II,   XXVIII|            both, he said, 'O Moses! dost thou desire to kill me as
60 II,   XXVIII|            a person yesterday? thou dost only desire to be a tyrant
61 II,   XXVIII|       tyrant in the earth; and thou dost not desire to be of those
62 II,   XXVIII|              on condition that thou dost serve me for hire eight
63 II,   XXVIII|           again thy wing, that thou dost now stretch out through
64 II,   XXVIII|           canst not guide whom thou dost like, but God guides whom
65 II,     XXIX|            thee the Book which thou dost recite to them? verily,
66 II,     XXXI|          God both hears and sees!~ ~Dost thou not see that God joins
67 II,     XXXI|             high, the great!~ ~[30] Dost thou not see that the ship
68 II,   XXXIII|            satisfied with what thou dost bring them all; but God
69 II,     XXXV|             a change it was!~ ~[25] Dost thou not see that God has
70 II,    XXXVI|         same to them if thou~ ~ ./. dost warn them or dost warn them
71 II,    XXXVI|                   dost warn them or dost warn them not, they will
72 II,   XXXVII|            sticky clay.~ ~Nay, thou dost wonder and they jest! and
73 II,    XXXIX|          before thee that, "If thou dost associate aught with Him,
74 II,       XL|            believe: 'Our Lord! thou dost embrace all things in mercy
75 II,      XLI|           are veiled from what thou dost call us to, and in our ears
76 II,    XLIII|            power over them.~ ~Say, 'Dost thou hold to what is inspired
77 II,     XLVI|             then bring us what thou dost threaten us with, if thou
78 II,      LII|             ye have sons?~ ~[40] Or dost thou ask them a hire, while
79 II,    LVIII|          God is witness over all!~ ~Dost thou not see that God knows
80 II,    LVIII|             all things doth know!~ ~Dost thou not look at those who
81 II,    LVIII|         aware of what ye do!~ ~[15] Dost thou not look at those who
82 II,      LIX|             kind, compassionate!'~ ~Dost thou not look on those who
83 II,      LIX|            amongst themselves;-thou dost reckon them as one body,
84 II,    LXIII|           same to them whether thou dost ask forgiveness for them,
85 II,    LXIII|           for them, or whether thou dost not ask forgiveness for
86 II,     LXVI|             thou prophet! wherefore dost thou prohibit what God has
87 II,   LXVIII|             my device is sure.~ ~Or dost thou ask them a hire for
88 II,   LXXIII|            thy Lord knows that thou dost stand up to pray nearly
89 II,     LXXX|            him who is wealthy, thou dost attend to him; and thou
90 II,     LXXX|             attend to him; and thou dost not care that he is not
