Part, Sura

 1  I          |    religion, built a mosque to serve as a place of prayer and
 2  I          |      Mohammed bids the Qurâis 'serve the Lord of this House,'
 3  I          |     the idolaters who say they serve false gods as a means of
 4  I,        I|       day of judgment! Thee we serve and Thee we ask for aid. [
 5  I,       II|  mighty over all.~ ~O ye folk! serve your Lord who created you
 6  I,       II|    Israel a covenant, saying, 'Serve ye none but God, and to
 7  I,       II|        his sons, 'What will ye serve when I am gone?' They said, '
 8  I,       II|     gone?' They said, 'We will serve thy God, the God of thy
 9  I,       II|       unto God if it be Him ye serve. He has only forbidden for
10  I,      III|      and you, that we will not serve other than God, nor associate
11  I,       IV|  knowing and aware.~ ~[40] And serve God, and do not associate
12  I,        V|    aside!~ ~[80] Say, 'Will ye serve, other than God, what can
13  I,      VII|     and he said, 'O my people! serve God, ye have no god but
14  I,      VII|        who said, 'O my people! serve God, ye have no god save
15  I,      VII|        who said, 'O my people! serve God, ye have no god save
16  I,       IX|        numbers; but it did not serve you at all, and the road
17  I,       XI|         he said, 'O my people! serve God; ye have no god but
18  I,       XI|         He said, 'O my people! serve God; ye have no god but
19  I,       XI|   concerning what these men do serve;-they only serve as their
20  I,       XI|        men do serve;-they only serve as their fathers served
21  I,       XI|   affair doth all return. Then serve Him and rely on Him; for
22  I,     XIII|      Say; 'I am only bidden to serve God and not to associate
23  I,      XIV|       what our fathers used to serve. Bring us, then, obvious
24  I,       XV|      of those who adore.~ ~And serve thy Lord until the certainty
25  I,      XVI|   nation an apostle (to say), 'Serve ye God, and avoid Tâghût!'
26  I,      XVI|    ungrateful?~ ~[75] And they serve beside God what cannot control
27  I,      XVI|        of God, if it be Him ye serve.~ ~He has only forbidden
28 II,     XVII|      decreed that ye shall not serve other than Him; and kindness
29 II,    XVIII|        from them and what they serve other than God, then resort
30 II,      XIX|        way.~ ~[45] 'O my sire! serve not Satan; verily, Satan
31 II,      XIX|       is between the two; then serve Him and persevere in His
32 II,       XX|   there is no god but Me! then serve Me, and be steadfast in
33 II,      XXI|     There is no god but Me, so serve ye Me.'~ ~And they say, '
34 II,      XXI|         Said he, 'Will ye then serve, beside God, what cannot
35 II,      XXI|      fie upon you, and what ye serve beside God! have ye then
36 II,      XXI|        give alms; and they did serve us.~ ~And Lot, to him we
37 II,      XXI|       remembrance to those who serve us.~ ~[85] And Ishmael,
38 II,      XXI|         and I am your Lord, so serve me.~ ~ ./. But they cut
39 II,      XXI|        Verily, ye, and what ye serve beside God, shall be the
40 II,      XXI|     preaching for a people who serve me!~ ~We have only sent
41 II,     XXII|       is easy.~ ~[70] And they serve beside God what He has sent
42 II,     XXII|        bow down and adore, and serve your Lord, and do well,
43 II,    XXIII|       of themselves (saying), 'Serve God, ye have no god but
44 II,     XXVI|        his people, 'What do ye serve?' They said, 'We serve idols,
45 II,     XXVI|      ye serve?' They said, 'We serve idols, and we are still
46 II,    XXVII|  Thamûd their brother Zâli'h, 'Serve God;' but behold, they were
47 II,    XXVII|    have done?~ ~I am bidden to serve the Lord of this country
48 II,   XXVIII|       condition that thou dost serve me for hire eight years;
49 II,     XXIX|        he said to his people, 'Serve God and fear Him, that is
50 II,     XXIX|     did but know. [15] Ye only serve beside God idols and do
51 II,     XXIX|     lie; verily, those whom ye serve beside God cannot control
52 II,     XXIX|        provision with God, and serve Him, and give thanks to
53 II,     XXIX|       and he said, 'My people, serve God, and hope for the last
54 II,    XXXVI|       Adam! that ye should not serve Satan? verily, he is to
55 II,    XXXVI|        to you an open foe; but serve ye me, this is the right
56 II,   XXXVII|    mates and what they used to serve beside God, and guide them
57 II,   XXXVII|    people, 'What is it that ye serve? with a lie do ye desire
58 II,   XXXVII|   towards him. Said he, 'Do ye serve what ye hew out, when God
59 II,    XXXIX|        the Book in truth, then serve God, being sincere in religion
60 II,    XXXIX|     Him patrons --- 'We do not serve them save that they may
61 II,    XXXIX|         Verily, I am bidden to serve God, being sincere in religion
62 II,    XXXIX|    mighty day.' Say, 'God do I serve, being sincere in my religion
63 II,    XXXIX| sincere in my religion to Him; serve then what ye will beside
64 II,    XXXIX|   those who avoid Tâghût 1 and serve them not, but turn repentant
65 II,    XXXIX|      than God would you bid me serve, O ye ignorant ones? [65]
66 II,    XXXIX|    lose!" Nay, but God do thou serve, and be of those who do
67 II,       XL|      Verily, I am forbidden to serve those whom ye call on beside
68 II,      XLI|    from behind them (saying), "Serve ye none but God."' They
69 II,      XLI|   created you, if it be Him ye serve.~ ~But if they be too big
70 II,    XLIII|        am clear of all that ye serve, except Him who created
71 II,    XLIII|       Merciful One for them to serve?'~ ~[45] We did send Moses
72 II,    XLIII|      is my Lord and your Lord, serve Him then, this is the right
73 II,     XLVI|   before him and after him, - 'Serve not other than God; verily,
74 II,     LIII|     while!~ ~But adore God and serve (Him) 4.~ ~ ~ ~
75 II,       LX|    clear of you and of what ye serve beside God. We disbelieve
76 II,     LXXI|        obvious warner, that ye serve God and fear Him and obey
77 II,      CVI|       and summer.~ So let them serve the Lord of this house who
78 II,      CIX|      ye misbelievers! I do not serve what ye serve; nor will
79 II,      CIX|         I do not serve what ye serve; nor will ye serve what
80 II,      CIX|     what ye serve; nor will ye serve what I serve; nor will I
81 II,      CIX|       nor will ye serve what I serve; nor will I serve what ye
82 II,      CIX|       what I serve; nor will I serve what ye serve; [5] nor will
83 II,      CIX|       nor will I serve what ye serve; [5] nor will ye serve what
84 II,      CIX|      ye serve; [5] nor will ye serve what I serve;-ye have your
85 II,      CIX|       nor will ye serve what I serve;-ye have your religion,
