Part, Sura

 1  I          |           an impostor, both equally grievous to him, while his following
 2  I          |           Arabs at the time, became grievous and unsuitable for other
 3  I,       II|            dimness, and for them is grievous woe. And there are those
 4  I,       II|          more sick, and for them is grievous woe because they lied. [
 5  I,       II|          they be driven to the most grievous torment, for God is not
 6  I,       II|          unto misbelievers shall be grievous woe.~ ~They who misbelieve,
 7  I,       II|        purify them, but for them is grievous woe.~ ~[170] They who sell
 8  I,       II|  transgresses after that for him is grievous woe.~ ~[175] For you in
 9  I,      III|            give the glad tidings of grievous woe! These are they whose
10  I,      III|             I will punish them with grievous punishment in this world
11  I,      III|        purify them; but for them is grievous woe.~ ~And, verily, amongst
12  I,      III|            as a ransom. For them is grievous woe, and helpers have they
13  I,      III|             at all, and for them is grievous woe.~ ~Let not those who
14  I,      III|        safety from woe,-for them is grievous woe!~ ~God's is the kingdom
15  I,       IV|            these have we prepared a grievous woe.~ ~O ye who believe!
16  I,       IV|            tidings that for them is grievous woe!~ ~Those who take the
17  I,       IV|            of them who misbelieve a grievous woe.~ ~[160] But those amongst
18  I,       IV|             will punish them with a grievous woe, and they shall not
19  I,        V|          from them; but for them is grievous woe. They may wish to go
20  I,        V|             misbelieve amongst them grievous woe.~ ~Will they not turn
21  I,        V| transgresses after that, for him is grievous woe.~ ~O ye who believe!
22  I,       VI|         drink of boiling water, and grievous woe for that they. have
23  I,       VI|         meanness in God's eyes, and grievous torment for the craft they
24  I,      VII|             there will overtake you grievous woe. And remember how he
25  I,     VIII|             from heaven or bring us grievous woe!'~ ~But God would not
26  I,       IX|          misbelieve glad tidings of grievous woe!-Except to those of
27  I,       IX|           give them glad tidings of grievous woe! [35] On the day when
28  I,       IX|             He will punish you with grievous woe, and will put in your
29  I,       IX|            at them, and for them is grievous woe!~ ~Ask forgiveness for
30  I,        X|         drink of boiling water, and grievous woe, for that they did misbelieve.~ ~[
31  I,        X|              if my stay with you be grievous to you, and my reminding
32  I,        X|          not believe until they see grievous woe!' He said, 'Your prayer
33  I,        X|            sign, until they see the grievous woe. Were it not so, a city
34  I,       XI|          for you the torment of the grievous day. But the chiefs of those
35  I,       XI|            shall touch them from us grievous woe.' These are stories
36  I,       XI|          verily, His over-taking is grievous, keen.~ ~[105] Verily, in
37  I,      XII|          but that imprisonment or a grievous torment?'~ ~Said he, 'She
38  I,      XIV|            wrong-doers, for them is grievous woe!'~ ~But I will cause
39  I,       XV|              and that my woe is the grievous woe.~ ~And inform them concerning
40  I,      XVI|             to-day, and for them is grievous woe!~ ~ ./. We have only
41  I,      XVI|         guide them, and for them is grievous woe.~ ~ ./. Only they are
42  I,      XVI|          enjoyment-then for them is grievous woe!~ ~For those who are
43 II,     XXII|              we will make him taste grievous woe.~ ~ ./. And when we
44 II,    XXIII|         opened for them a door with grievous torment, then lo! they are
45 II,     XXIV|            who believe, for them is grievous woe in this world and the
46 II,     XXIV|          trial or there befall them grievous woe. Ay, God's is what is
47 II,      XXV|           prepared for the unjust a grievous woe.~ ~[40] And 'Âd and
48 II,     XXVI|          therein until they see the grievous woe! and it shall come to
49 II,     XXIX|              and these, for them is grievous woe.~ ~But the answer of
50 II,     XXXI|         give to him glad tidings of grievous woe!~ ~Verily, those who
51 II,   XXXIII|          for those who misbelieve a grievous woe.~ ~O ye who believe!
52 II,    XXXIV|            them is the torment of a grievous plague.~ ~And those to whom
53 II,    XXXVI|           shall touch you from us a grievous woe.'~ ~Said they, 'Your
54 II,   XXXVII|            ye are going to taste of grievous woe, nor shall ye be rewarded
55 II,      XLI|             forgiveness and Lord of grievous torment!'~ ~And had we made
56 II,     XLII|             the unjust,-for them is grievous woe. Thou shalt see the
57 II,     XLII|            right; these-for them is grievous woe.~ ~But surely he who
58 II,    XLIII|        unjust from the torment of a grievous day!~ ~Do they expect aught
59 II,     XLIV|            10] to cover men-this is grievous torment!~ ~Our Lord! remove
60 II,      XLV|             him the glad tidings of grievous woe-and when he knows something
61 II,      XLV|            for them is torment of a grievous plague.~ ~God it is who
62 II,     XLVI|        hasten on-a wind in which is grievous torment; it will destroy
63 II,     XLVI|           and will deliver you from grievous woe.'~ ~And whoso responds
64 II,   XLVIII|            He will torment you with grievous woe!'~ ~There is no compulsion
65 II,   XLVIII|           back He will torment with grievous woe.~ ~God was well pleased
66 II,   XLVIII|           them who misbelieved with grievous woe.~ ~When those who misbelieved
67 II,       LI|          sign to those who fear the grievous woe.~ ~And in Moses; when
68 II,    LVIII|             for the misbelievers is grievous woe!~ ~Verily, those who
69 II,      LIX|             affair, and for them is grievous woe.~ ~Like unto the devil
70 II,      LXI|            which will save you from grievous woe?~ ~To believe in God
71 II,     LXIV|            affair, and for them was grievous woe?~ ~That is because their
72 II,    LXVII|       protect the misbelievers from grievous torment?'~ ~Say, 'He is
73 II,     LXXI|         before there come to them a grievous torment!'~ ~Said he, 'O
74 II,    LXXVI|             has prepared for them a grievous woe!~ ~ ~ ~
75 II,   LXXXIV|            them the glad tidings of grievous woe! [25] save those who
