Part, Sura

 1  I          |  Abyssinian Naggâsî, peremptorily bidding them embrace the faith and
 2  I          |        angels only descend at the bidding of the Lord. Certainty of
 3  I,      VII|          stars are subject to His bidding. Aye!-His is the creation
 4  I,      VII|           is the creation and the bidding,-blessed be God the Lord
 5  I,      VII|          and rebelled against the bidding of their Lord and said, '
 6  I,      VII|            Would ye hasten on the bidding of your Lord?' and he threw
 7  I,      VII|           the law and the gospel, bidding them what is reasonable
 8  I,       IX|      awhile, until God brings His bidding, for God guides not a people
 9  I,       IX|         the truth came, and God's bidding was made manifest, averse
10  I,       IX|       some of them follow others, bidding what is wrong and forbidding
11  I,       IX|      others are in hopes of God's bidding; whether He will torment
12  I,       XI|        apostles, and followed the bidding of every headstrong tyrant.
13  I,       XI|           Dost thou wonder at the bidding of God? God's mercy and
14  I,       XI|           avoid this; verily, the bidding of thy Lord has come; verily,
15  I,       XI|     morning nigh?'~ ~And when our bidding came, we made their high
16  I,       XI|         too!'~ ~ ./. And when our bidding came we saved Sho'hâib,
17  I,       XI|           they followed Pharaoh's bidding, and Pharaoh's bidding was
18  I,       XI|          s bidding, and Pharaoh's bidding was not straightforward.~ ~[
19  I,       XI|     instead of God, when once the bidding of thy Lord had come; nor
20  I,      XIV|       therein upon the sea at His bidding; and subjected for you the
21  I,      XVI|        compassionate God.~ ~God's bidding will come; seek not then
22  I,      XVI|     angels with the Spirit at His bidding upon whom He will of His
23  I,      XVI|        stars are subjected to His bidding. Verily, in that are signs
24  I,      XVI|           off, or that thy Lord's bidding should come?-thus did those
25 II,     XVII|           The spirit comes at the bidding of my Lord, and ye are given
26 II,    XVIII|       ginn, who revolted from the bidding of his Lord. 'What! will
27 II,    XVIII|          will I rebel against thy bidding.' He said, 'Then, if thou
28 II,    XVIII|        and I did it not on my own bidding. That is the interpretation
29 II,    XVIII|         we will tell him our easy bidding.'~ ~Then he followed a way
30 II,      XIX|         not descend 2 save at the bidding~ ~ ./. of thy Lord; His
31 II,       XX|          so follow me and obey my bidding.'~ ~They said, 'We will
32 II,       XX|          then rebelled against my bidding?'~ ~[95] Said he, 'O son
33 II,      XXI|       until He speaks; but at His bidding do they act. He knows what
34 II,      XXI|             to guide (men) by our bidding, and we inspired them to
35 II,      XXI|        stormily, to run on at his bidding to the land 3 which we have
36 II,     XXII|         runs on in the sea at His bidding, and He holds back the sky
37 II,     XXII|          on the earth save at His bidding 1? verily, God to men is
38 II,     XXVI|         obey me; and obey not the bidding of the extravagant, who
39 II,    XXVII|       with keen violence; but the bidding is thine, see then what
40 II,      XXX|       make the ships go on at His bidding, and that ye may crave of
41 II,    XXXII|         priests who guided by our bidding, since they were patient
42 II,   XXXIII|      desire of them: and so God's bidding to be done 2.~ ~There is
43 II,   XXXIII|     passed away before,-and God's bidding is a decreed decree! Those
44 II,    XXXIV|     swerves amongst them from our bidding we will give him to taste
45 II,    XXXVI|          the knowing Creator; His bidding is only, when He desires
46 II,  XXXVIII|         the wind to run on at his bidding gently wherever he directed
47 II,       XL|          throws the spirit by His bidding upon whom He will of His
48 II,       XL| permission of God; but when God's bidding came it was decided with
49 II,      XLI|    inspired every heaven with its bidding: and we~ ~ ./. adorned the
50 II,     XLII|         thee by a spirit 1 at our bidding; thou didst not know what
51 II,      XLV|           may sail thereon at his bidding, and that ye may crave of
52 II,     XLIX|          until it return to God's bidding; and if it do return then
53 II,       LI|         they revolted against the bidding of their Lord; and the noise
54 II,      LIV|           and the waters met at a bidding already decreed.~ ~But we
55 II,      LIV|           by decree, [50] and our bidding is but one (word), like
56 II,      LXV|          has turned away from the bidding of its Lord and His apostles;
57 II,      LXV|       earth the like thereof. The bidding descends between them, that
58 II,     LXXX|          he has not fulfilled his bidding!~ ~But let man look unto
59 II,   LXXXII|        aught for another; and the bidding on that day belongs to God!~ ~ ~ ~
60 II,    XCVII|          of their Lord with every bidding.~ [5] Peace it is until
