 1  I             | immediately organized.~ ~For three days they lay concealed, their
 2  I             |           YaTHrib in safety. Three days after they were joined by
 3  I             |           surrender after fourteen days, which they did on condition
 4  I             |            and to remain for three days.~ ~This was, in reality,
 5  I             |          course of the short three days' sojourn in Mecca the Muslim
 6  I             |            for the three following days, the âiyâm et tasrîq or '
 7  I             |            the âiyâm et tasrîq or 'days of drying up,' scil. the
 8  I             |     marvellously told story of the days of yore, uttered some awful
