Part, Sura

 1  I          |    sobriquet of El KeDHDHâb, 'the liar,' and a few bitterly satirical
 2  I          |         unbelief. Though called a liar now, his cause shall triumph
 3  I          |        idolatry. Noah is called a liar and vindicated. Hûd preaches
 4  I,      III|           if they did call thee a liar, apostles before thee have
 5  I,       VI|           do not call thee only a liar, for the unjust gainsay
 6  I,      VII|             But they called him a liar, and we rescued him and
 7  I,      VII|       Those who called Sho'hâib a liar, (were) as though they had
 8  I,      VII|       Those who called Sho'hâib a liar, they were the losers then!
 9  I,        X|             But if they call thee liar, say, 'I have my work, and
10  I,        X|             But they called him a liar; and we saved him, and those
11  I,       XI|    disgrace him, and him who is a liar. Watch then; verily, I with
12  I,      XVI| themselves, but they called him a liar, and the torment seized
13 II,     XXII|             But if they call thee liar, the people of Noah called
14 II,     XXII|         people of Noah called him liar before them, as did 'Âd
15 II,     XXII|            and Moses was called a liar too: but I let the misbelievers
16 II,    XXIII|         Help me, for they call me liar!'~ ~And we inspired him, '
17 II,    XXIII|         help me, for they call me liar!' He said, Within a little
18 II,    XXIII|          nation they called him a liar; and we made some to follow
19 II,      XXV|       have called (the Apostle) a liar, but it shall be (a punishment)
20 II,     XXVI|           They have called (thee) liar! but there shall come to
21 II,     XXVI|       fear that they will call me liar; and my breast is straitened,

26 II,   XXVIII|       fear that they will call me liar!'~ ~[35] Said He, 'We will
27 II,     XXIX|               But they called him liar; and the convulsion seized
28 II,     XXXV|             And if they call thee liar, apostles were called liars
29 II,     XXXV|           And if they called thee liar, those before thee called
30 II,   XXXVII|               But they called him liar; verily, they shall surely
31 II,  XXXVIII|                  is a magician, a liar!' What! does he make the
32 II,    XXXIX|         him who is a misbelieving liar.~ ~Had God wished to take
33 II,       XL|         your Lord? and if he be a liar, against him is his lie;
34 II,       XL|         him who is an extravagant liar. [30] O my people! yours
35 II,       XL|        for, verily, I think him a liar.'~ ~[40] And thus was his
36 II,      XLV|    believe?~ ~Woe to every sinful liar who hears God's signs sent
37 II,      LIV|         they called our servant a liar; and they said, 'Mad!' and
38 II,      LIV|            nay, he is an insolent liar!~ ~'They shall know to-morrow
39 II,      LIV|      to-morrow about the insolent liar!~ ~'Verily, we are about
40 II,    LXVII|          to us, and we called him liar, and said, "God has not
41 II,   LXVIII|           not those who call thee liar; they would fain that thou
42 II,    LXXIX|        but~ ~ ./. he called him a liar and rebelled. Then he re-treated
43 II,      XCI|       Thamûd called the apostle a liar 1 in their outrage, when
44 II,      XCI|             But they called him a liar, and they ham-strung her;
