Part, Sura

 1  I,      III|       comprehends.~ ~When thou didst set forth early 1 from thy
 2  I,      III|        thanks. [120] When thou didst say unto the believers, '
 3  I,      III|    sort of mercy from God thou didst deal gently with them, for
 4  I,       IV|      and taught thee what thou didst not know, for God's grace
 5  I,        V|      the Holy Ghost, till thou didst speak to men in the cradle
 6  I,        V|      and the gospel; when thou didst create of clay, as it were,
 7  I,        V|       a bird, by my power, and didst blow thereon, it became
 8  I,        V|        became a bird; and thou didst heal the blind from birth,
 9  I,        V|      permission; and when thou didst bring forth the dead by
10  I,        V|    Israel from thee, when thou didst come to them with manifest
11  I,        V|        of Mary! is it thou who didst say to men, take me and
12  I,        V|       told them save what Thou didst bid me,-" Worship God, my
13  I,        V|   amongst them; but when Thou. didst take me away to thyself
14  I,       VI|        God has sent down;' but didst thou see when the unjust
15  I,      VII|     Zâli'h! bring us what thou didst threaten us with, if thou
16  I,      VII|     have been hurt before thou didst come to us, and since thou
17  I,     VIII|     was God who slew them; nor didst thou shoot when thou didst
18  I,     VIII|     didst thou shoot when thou didst shoot, but God did shoot 1,
19  I,     VIII|       reconciles their hearts! Didst thou expend all that is
20  I,       IX|          God forgive thee; why didst thou give them leave (to
21  I,       IX|      shouldst mount them, thou didst say, 'I cannot find wherewith
22  I,        X|  resigned!' - 'Now 1! but thou didst rebel aforetime, and wert
23  I,       XI|        we reveal to thee; thou didst not know them, thou nor
24 II,     XVII|   enchanted.'~ ~He said, 'Well didst thou know that none sent
25 II,    XVIII|       not have said, when thou didst go into thy garden, "What
26 II,       XX|    should not grieve. And thou didst slay a person and we saved
27 II,       XX|       various trials. And thou didst tarry for years amongst
28 II,       XX|    people of Midian; then thou didst come (hither) at (our) decree,
29 II,       XX|   tried thy people, since thou didst leave, and es Sâmarîy 1
30 II,       XX|      prevented thee, when thou didst see them go astray, from
31 II,       XX|   signs came to thee, and thou didst forget them; thus to-day
32 II,     XXII|      whereon they disagreed.~ ~Didst thou not know that God knows
33 II,      XXV|     patrons but Thee; but Thou didst give them and their fathers
34 II,     XXVI|        us as a child? and thou didst dwell amongst us for years
35 II,     XXVI|    years of thy life; and thou didst do thy deed which thou hast
36 II,   XXVIII|      desire to kill me as thou didst kill a person yesterday?
37 II,   XXVIII|     should say, 'Our Lord! why didst thou not send to us an apostle?
38 II,   XXXIII| obvious error.~ ~And when thou didst say to him God had shown
39 II,   XXXIII|        and fear God;' and thou didst conceal in thy soul what
40 II,   XXXIII|      was about to display; and didst fear men, though God is
41 II,   XXXVII|       shall say, 'By God, thou didst nearly ruin me! [55] And
42 II,    XXXIX|      to thee my signs and thou didst call them lies, and wert
43 II,     XLII|  spirit 1 at our bidding; thou didst not know what the Book was,
44 II,        L|    truth! - 'that is what thou didst shun!'~ ~And the trumpet
