Part, Sura

 1  I          |   Pharaoh and other contumacious folk; and painting in vivid colours
 2  I          |          all commonplaces of the folk lore of the country.~ ~He,
 3  I          |     words  aiyuha 'nnâs, 'O ye folk!' occur, while the expression
 4  I,       II|          mighty over all.~ ~O ye folk! serve your Lord who created
 5  I,       II|       them there are, illiterate folk, that know not the Book,
 6  I,       II|        from out the fire.~ ~O ye folk! eat of what is in the earth,
 7  I,       II|        God does not guide unjust folk.~ ~Or like him who passed
 8  I,       II|      guides not the misbelieving folk.~ ~But the likeness of those
 9  I,      III|     signs? God guides the unjust folk.~ ~These, their reward is,
10  I,      III|         against the misbelieving folk!' and God gave them the
11  I,       IV|        compassionate God.~ ~O ye folk! fear your Lord, who created
12  I,       IV|        this town 1 of oppressive folk, and make for us from Thee
13  I,       IV|       easy enough to God!~ ~O ye folk! the Apostle has come to
14  I,       IV|    patron or a help.~ ~ ./. O ye folk! proof has come to you from
15  I,        V|       two others from some other folk, if ye be knocking about
16  I,      VII|        prosperous.'~ ~Say, 'O ye folk! verily, I am the Apostle
17  I,      VII|          it twelve springs, each folk knew their drinking place.
18  I,      VII|         only with God,'-but most folk do not know.~ ~Say, 'I cannot
19  I,     VIII|     torment them while they turn folk away from the Holy Mosque,
20  I,     VIII|      expend their wealth to turn folk from the path of God; but
21  I,       IX|      that is, because they are a folk who do not know.~ ~How can
22  I,       IX|      little price, and they turn folk from His way; verily, they-evil
23  I,       IX|          of men openly, and turn folk from God's way; but those
24  I,        X|           was it a wonder to the folk 1 that we inspired a man
25  I,        X|       themselves, 'Warn thou the folk; and give glad tidings,
26  I,        X|         the earth unjustly;-O ye folk! your wilfulness against
27  I,        X|          are ye returned!~ ~O ye folk! there has come to you a
28  I,        X|          believers.~ ~Say, 'O ye folk! if ye are in doubt concerning
29 II,     XXII|        compassionate God.~ ~O ye folk! fear your Lord. Verily,
30 II,     XXII|         of the blaze!~ ~[5] O ye folk! if ye are in doubt about
31 II,     XXII|         the return.~ ~Say, 'O ye folk! I am naught but a plain
32 II,     XXII|     journey shall it be!'~ ~O ye folk! a parable is struck out
33 II,      XXV|     created,-the cattle and many folk.~ ~We have turned it 2 in
34 II,    XXVII|          s heir; and said, 'O ye folk! we have been taught the
35 II,    XXVII|         city! verily, they are a folk who would keep pure.'~ ~
36 II,     XXXI|   perfidious misbeliever.~ ~O ye folk! fear your Lord and dread
37 II,   XXXIII|     course any alteration.~ ~The folk will ask thee about the
38 II,     XXXV|         mighty, the wise.~ ~O ye folk! remember the favours of
39 II,     XXXV|       affairs return.~ ~[5] O ye folk! verily, God's promise is
40 II,     XXXV|         One who is aware.~ ~O ye folk! ye are in need of God but
41 II,    XLVII|          who misbelieve and turn folk from God's way, He will
42 II,     XLIX| relentant, compassionate.~ ~O ye folk! verily, we have created
43 II,    LVIII|        the feeding of sixty poor folk. That is that ye may believe
