Part, Sura

 1  I          |        shone straight in their faces; but Mohammed, whose numbers
 2  I          |      and exclaimed, 'May their faces be covered with shame! Muslims
 3  I,       II|      wherever ye be, turn your faces towards it; for verily,
 4  I,       II|  wheresoever ye are, turn your faces towards it, that men may
 5  I,       II|       is not that ye turn your faces towards the east or the
 6  I,      III|    mighty woe, on the day when faces shall be whitened and faces
 7  I,      III|    faces shall be whitened and faces shall be blackened. As for
 8  I,      III|  blackened. As for those whose faces are blackened, - 'Did ye
 9  I,      III|         But as for those whose faces are whitened, they are in
10  I,       IV|     surface sand and wipe your faces and your hands therewith;
11  I,       IV|     before; ere we deface your faces and turn them into hinder
12  I,        V|    rise up to prayer wash your faces, and your hands as far as
13  I,        V|     surface sand and wipe your faces and your hands therewith.
14  I,      VII|  justice:-set steadfastly your faces at every mosque and pray
15  I,     VIII|       they smite them on their faces and hinder parts. - 'Taste
16  I,        X|       or abasement cover their faces! these are the fellows of
17  I,        X|   against God;-as though their faces were veiled with the deep
18  I,      XIV|        and fire covering their faces;-that God may reward each
19 II,     XVII|       last came 1-to harm your faces and to enter the mosque
20 II,     XVII|    resurrection day upon their faces, blind, and dumb, and deaf;
21 II,    XVIII|        which shall roast their faces:-an ill drink and an evil
22 II,       XX|      knowledge of Him.~ ~[110] Faces shall be humbled before
23 II,      XXI|       be warded off from their faces nor from their backs, and
24 II,     XXII|        mayest recognise in the faces of those who misbelieve
25 II,    XXIII|        fire shall scorch their faces, and they shall curl their
26 II,      XXV|   shall be gathered upon their faces to hell,-these are in the
27 II,    XXVII|      be thrown down upon their faces in the fire. Shall ye be
28 II,   XXXIII|          On the day when their faces shall writhe in the fire
29 II,    XXXIX|        against God, with their faces blackened. Is there not
30 II,    XLVII|     their souls, smiting their faces and their backs?~ ~[30]
31 II,   XLVIII|       their marks are in their faces from the effects of adoration;-
32 II,      LIV| dragged to the fire upon their faces! - 'Taste ye the touch of
33 II,    LXVII|       nigh, sorry shall be the faces of those who misbelieve;
34 II,     LXXV|       neglect the hereafter!~ ~Faces on that day shall be bright,
35 II,     LXXV|    gazing on their Lord!~ ~And faces on that day shall be dismal!~ ~[
36 II,     LXXX|      business to employ him.~ ~Faces on that day shall be bright,-
37 II,     LXXX|     laughing, joyous! [40] and faces shall have dust upon them,-
38 II,  LXXXIII|      mayest recognise in their faces the brightness of pleasure; [
39 II, LXXXVIII|   story of the overwhelming?~ ~Faces on that day shall: be humble,
40 II, LXXXVIII|        avail against hunger!~ ~Faces on that day shall be comfortable,
