Part, Sura

 1  I          |         were quite earnest in their desire to have Mohammed amongst
 2  I          |           common bond of unity, the desire for plunder and the love
 3  I          | embarrassing position, and the very desire to prove the truth of what
 4  I          |      parched, and barren land could desire, namely, shade, water, fruit,
 5  I          |             of the religion: in his desire to shield it from change
 6  I,       IV|             in God and His apostles desire to make a distinction between
 7  I,       IV|             disbelieve in part, and desire to take a midway course
 8  I,        V|            that is given to us, nor desire that our Lord should make
 9  I,        V|      believers;' and they said, 'We desire to eat therefrom that our
10  I,      VII|           enter it although they so desire. [45] But when their sight
11  I,     VIII|            merciful.'~ ~But if they desire to betray thee,-they have
12  I,       IX|          they join with Him!~ ~They desire to put out the light of
13  I,       IX|             verily, unto God is our desire!'~ ~[60] Alms are only for
14  I,      XII|            whom ye blamed me. I did desire him for his person, but
15  I,      XII|                 They said, 'We will desire him of our father and we
16 II,       XX|             long for you, or do you desire that wrath should light

25 II,    XXXII|          Fire. Every time that they desire to go forth therefrom, we
26 II,   XXXIII|         when Zâid had fulfilled his desire of her 1 we did wed thee
27 II,   XXXIII|           they have fulfilled their desire of them: and so God's bidding
28 II,   XXXIII|             prophet, if the prophet desire to marry her;-a special
29 II,   XXXVII|             serve? with a lie do ye desire gods beside God? [85] What
30 II,      XLI|             therein what your souls desire, and ye shall have therein
31 II,    XLIII|         them; therein is what souls desire, and eyes shall be delighted,
32 II,       LI|          may worship me.~ ~I do not desire any provision from them,
33 II,      LII|         write it down?~ ~Or do they desire a plot?-but those who misbelieve
34 II,      LVI|           And flesh of fowl as they desire;~ And bright and large-eyed
35 II,      LXI|           the unjust people.~ ~They desire to put out the light of
36 II,    LXXVI|         feed you for God's sake; we desire not from you either reward
