Part, Sura

 1  I,       IV|         Book in truth that thou mayest judge between men of what
 2  I,        V|        verily, I wish that thou mayest draw upon thee my sin and
 3  I,      VII|        in thy breast, that thou mayest warn thereby,-and a reminder
 4  I,      VII|        they will not hear, thou mayest see them looking towards
 5  I,        X|     thee in thy body, that thou mayest be to those who come after
 6  I,      XVI|         which ye wear,-and thou mayest see the ships cleaving through
 7  I,      XVI| Reminder to thee too, that thou mayest explain to men what has
 8  I,      XVI|        thee the Book, that thou mayest explain to them that which
 9 II,    XVIII|       follow thee, so that thou mayest teach me, from what thou
10 II,    XVIII|          O DHu 'l Qarnâin! thou mayest either torment these people,
11 II,      XIX|         Merciful, and that thou mayest be a client of Satan.'~ ~
12 II,      XIX|        for thy tongue that thou mayest thereby give glad tidings
13 II,       XX|            love, [40] that thou mayest be formed under my eye.
14 II,       XX|     ends of the day; haply thou mayest please (Him).~ ~And do not
15 II,     XXII|     read to them manifest, thou mayest recognise in the faces of
16 II,     XXIV|      accumulates them, and thou mayest see the rain coming forth
17 II,   XXVIII|      thy Lord, that~ ~ ./. thou mayest warn a people to whom no
18 II,     XXIX|      strive with thee that thou mayest join with me, what thou
19 II,    XXXII|        from thy Lord, that thou mayest warn a people, to whom no
20 II,     XXXV|         which ye wear; and thou mayest see the ships cleave through
21 II,    XXXVI|         merciful! [5] That thou mayest warn a people whose fathers
22 II,      XLI|      signs (is this), that thou mayest see the earth drooping,
23 II,     XLII|        Arabic Qur'ân, that thou mayest warn the Mother of cities 1
24 II,     XLII|      patron after Him; and thou mayest see the unjust when they
25 II,     XLII|         avert this 2?' and thou mayest see them exposed to it,
26 II,    XLVII|         mentioned therein, thou mayest see those in whose heart
27 II,   XLVIII|        amongst themselves; thou mayest see them bowing down, adoring,
28 II,     LVII|      they wither away, and thou mayest see them become yellow;
29 II,    LXIII|      away their heads, and thou mayest see them turning away since
30 II,    LXXIX|      thee to thy Lord, and thou mayest fear?"'~ ~[20] So he showed
31 II,  LXXXIII|   couches shall they gaze; thou mayest recognise in their faces
