Part, Sura

 1  I          |   Abbâs himself was obliged to bid them be silent and urge
 2  I,       II|       the two; so do as ye are bid.' [65] They said, 'Pray
 3  I,       II|       an open foe. He does but bid you evil and sin, and that
 4  I,      III|      those from among men, who bid what is just,-to them give
 5  I,      III|        ye learn.~ ~He does not bid you take the angels and
 6  I,      III|       for your lords; shall He bid you misbelieve again when
 7  I,      III|      shall invite to good, and bid what is reasonable, and
 8  I,      III|     brought forth unto man. Ye bid what is reasonable, and
 9  I,      III|       and in the last day, and bid what is reasonable, and
10  I,       IV|            who are miserly and bid men be miserly too, and
11  I,        V|      them save what Thou didst bid me,-" Worship God, my Lord
12  I,      VII|       land;-what is it then ye bid?' They said, 'Give him and
13  I,      VII|        then with firmness, and bid thy people take them for
14  I,       IX|        patrons of others; they bid what is reasonable, and
15  I,       IX|     those who adore, those who bid what is right and forbid
16  I,       XI|       Sho'hâib! Do thy prayers bid thee that we should forsake
17  I,      XII|        But if he do not what I bid him he shall surely be imprisoned
18 II,      XIX|        prophet; and he used to bid his people prayers and almsgiving,
19 II,       XX|     better and more lasting.~ ~Bid thy people prayer, and persevere
20 II,     XXII|     prayer, and give alms, and bid what is right, and forbid
21 II,     XXII|     their breasts.~ ~They will bid thee hasten on the torment,
22 II,     XXVI|       land! what is it then ye bid?'~ ~[35] They said, 'Give
23 II,    XXVII|      what it is that thou wilt bid.'~ ~She said, 'Verily, kings
24 II,     XXXI|       steadfast in prayer, and bid what is reasonable and forbid
25 II,    XXXIV|     night and day, when ye did bid us to disbelieve in God,
26 II,    XXXIX|       other than God would you bid me serve, O ye ignorant
27 II,      LII|       wait!'~ ~Do their dreams bid them this? or are they an
28 II,     LVII| boaster, who are niggardly and bid men be niggardly: but whoso
29 II,     CIII|      believe and do right, and bid each other be true, and
30 II,     CIII|        each other be true, and bid each other be patient.~ ~ ./.
