Part, Sura

 1  I          |     dim legends of antiquity throw any light on the subject,
 2  I          |      impossible for Islâm to throw off certain customs and
 3  I          |   brethren: they conspire to throw him in a pit: induce his
 4  I,      III|     best of helpers. We will throw dread into the hearts of
 5  I,      VII|    or shall we be (first) to throw?' Said he, 'Throw down;'
 6  I,      VII|  first) to throw?' Said he, 'Throw down;' and when they threw
 7  I,      VII|    inspired Moses (saying), 'Throw down thy rod, and it will
 8  I,     VIII|   any people treachery, then throw it back to them in like
 9  I,        X|   came, Moses said to them, 'Throw down what ye have, to throw!'
10  I,        X|  Throw down what ye have, to throw!' and when they threw down,
11  I,      XII|  Slay~ ~ ./. not Joseph, but throw him into the bottom of the
12  I,      XII|      Take this my shirt, and throw it over the face of my father,
13 II,       XX|      uses.'~ ~[20] Said He, 'Throw it down, O Moses!' and he
14 II,       XX|      Moses! either thou must throw, or we must be the first
15 II,       XX|      we must be the first to throw.'~ ~He said, 'Nay, throw
16 II,       XX|     throw.'~ ~He said, 'Nay, throw ye!' and lo! their ropes
17 II,       XX|   shalt have the upper hand. Throw down what is in thy right
18 II,     XXVI|     And Moses said to them, 'Throw down what ye have to throw
19 II,     XXVI|   Throw down what ye have to throw down.' So they threw down
20 II,    XXVII|       the mighty, wise; [10] throw down thy staff!' and when
21 II,    XXVII|      with this my letter and throw it before them,~ ~ ./. then
22 II,   XXVIII|      art afraid for him then throw him into the river, and
23 II,   XXVIII|   the Lord of the worlds; so throw down thy rod;' and when
24 II,   XXXVII|    Build for him a pyre, and throw him into the flaming hell!'
25 II,        L| ready for me (to attest).~ ~'Throw into hell every stubborn
26 II,        L|      other gods with God-and throw him, ye twain, into fierce
27 II,       CV|     them birds in flocks, to throw down on them stones of baked
