Part, Sura

 1  I          |        Rebuke to misbelievers: parable of one who kindles a fire.
 2  I          |        gods illustrated by the parable of the slave and of the
 3  I          | Paradise promised to the good. Parable of the proud man's garden
 4  I          |  powers bestowed on David. The parable of the ewe Iambs proposed
 5  I          |      not to reject the Qur'ân. Parable showing the uncertain position
 6  I,       II|     not ashamed to set forth a parable of a gnat 3, or anything
 7  I,       II|    that God means by this as a parable? He leads astray many and
 8  I,      XIV|      see how God strikes out a parable? A good word is like a good
 9  I,      XVI|           God has struck out a parable; an owned slave, able to
10  I,      XVI|       And God has struck out a parable: two men, one of them dumb,
11  I,      XVI|           God has struck out a parable: a city 2 which was safe
12 II,     XVII|       men in this Qur'ân every parable; but most men refuse to
13 II,    XVIII|          Strike out for them a parable: Two men, for one of whom
14 II,    XVIII|    Strike out for them, too, a parable of the life of this world;
15 II,    XVIII|      this Qur'ân for men every parable; but man is ever at most
16 II,     XXII|   shall it be!'~ ~O ye folk! a parable is struck out for you, so
17 II,      XXV|       they come to thee with a parable without our bringing thee
18 II,      XXX|       has struck out for you a parable from yourselves; have ye
19 II,      XXX|      this Qur'ân every kind of parable; but if thou shouldst bring
20 II,    XXXVI|          Strike out for them a parable: the fellows of the city
21 II,    XXXIX|      this Qur'ân every sort of parable, haply they may be mindful.
22 II,    XXXIX|       30] God has struck out a parable, a man who has partners
23 II,    XLIII|        Mary was set forth as a parable, behold thy people turned
24 II,     LXVI|          10] God strikes out a parable to those who misbelieve:
25 II,     LXVI|          And God strikes out a parable for those who believe: the
26 II,    LXXIV|     does God mean by this as a parable?'~ ~Thus God leads astray
