Part, Sura

 1  I          |      LX. THE CHAPTER OF THE TRIED. (Medînah.)~ ~Exhortations
 2  I          | from the infidels are to be tried before being received into
 3  I,       II| helped.~ ~And when his Lord tried Abraham with words, and
 4  I,      III|  deceit. Ye shall surely be tried in your wealth, and in your
 5  I,       IV|    party of them would have tried to lead thee astray; but
 6  I,       VI|    the unjust.~ ~So have we tried some of them by others,
 7  I,      VII|    reverse of that; we have tried them with good things and
 8  I,       IX|  they not see that they are tried in every year once or twice?
 9  I,      XVI|  fled 1 after they had been tried, and then fought strenuously
10 II,       XX|    from the trouble, and we tried thee with various trials.
11 II,       XX|   Said He, 'Verily, we have tried thy people, since thou didst
12 II,       XX|   people! ye are only being tried thereby; and, verily, your
13 II,    XXVII|     ye are a people who are tried!'~ ~ ./. And there were
14 II,     XXIX|     We believe,' and not be tried?~ ~ ./. we did try those
15 II,   XXXIII|    There were the believers tried and were made to quake with
16 II,     XLIV| vengeance.~ ~And we already tried the people of Pharaoh when
17 II,       LI|   at the fire they shall be tried. - 'Taste your trial! this
18 II,       LX|          THE CHAPTER OF THE TRIED.~ ~(LX. Medînah.)~ ~IN the
19 II,   LXVIII|    snout!~ ~Verily, we have tried them as we tried the fellows
20 II,   LXVIII|    we have tried them as we tried the fellows of the garden
21 II,     LXXI|   fingers in their ears and tried to cover themselves with
