1001 II,  XXXVIII   |      righteous 1, This is a reminder! verily, for the pious is there
1002 II,  XXXVIII   |             spent!'~ ~[55] This!-and, verily, for the rebellious is there
1003 II,  XXXVIII   |               is no welcome for them! verily, they are going to broil
1004 II,  XXXVIII   |             our eyes escaped them?'~ ~Verily, that is the truth; the
1005 II,  XXXVIII   |             Lord said to the angels, 'Verily, I am about to create a
1006 II,  XXXVIII   |              go forth therefrom, for, verily, thou art pelted, and, verily,
1007 II,  XXXVIII   |         verily, thou art pelted, and, verily, upon thee is my curse unto
1008 II,    XXXIX   |               the mighty, the wise.~ ~Verily, we have sent down to thee
1009 II,    XXXIX   |            bring us near to God --- ' Verily, God will judge between
1010 II,    XXXIX   |        whereon they do dispute.~ ~[5] Verily, God guides not him who
1011 II,    XXXIX   |              which ye have done. [10] Verily, He knows the natures of
1012 II,    XXXIX   |               thy misbelief a little, verily, thou art of the fellows
1013 II,    XXXIX   |              God's earth is spacious; verily, the patient shall be paid
1014 II,    XXXIX   |               without count!'~ ~Say, 'Verily, I am bidden to serve God,
1015 II,    XXXIX   |               resigned.'~ ~[15] Say, 'Verily, I fear, if I rebel against
1016 II,    XXXIX   |               will beside Him!' Say, 'Verily, the losers are those who
1017 II,    XXXIX   |                then He makes it grit;-verily, in that is a reminder for
1018 II,    XXXIX   |              most of them know not!~ ~Verily, thou shalt die, and, verily,
1019 II,    XXXIX   |          Verily, thou shalt die, and, verily, they shall die; then, verily,
1020 II,    XXXIX   |         verily, they shall die; then, verily, on the resurrection day
1021 II,    XXXIX   |           upon him lasting torment.~ ~Verily, we have sent down to thee
1022 II,    XXXIX   |            till their appointed time;-verily, in that are signs unto
1023 II,    XXXIX   |             favour from us, he says, 'Verily, I am given it through knowledge!'
1024 II,    XXXIX   |             pleases, or doles it out? verily, in that are signs unto
1025 II,    XXXIX   |              the~ ~ ./. mercy of God; verily, God forgives sins, all
1026 II,    XXXIX   |           forgives sins, all of them; verily, He is forgiving, merciful.~ ~[
1027 II,    XXXIX   |           neglected towards God! for, verily, I was amongst those who
1028 II,       XL   |          their wives, and their seed; verily, thou art the mighty, the
1029 II,       XL   |              is mighty bliss!'~ ~[10] Verily, those who misbelieve shall
1030 II,       XL   |             There is no wrong to-day; verily, God is quick at reckoning
1031 II,       XL   |             Him do not decide at all: verily, God, He both hears and
1032 II,       XL   |               and God caught them up; verily, He is mighty, keen to punish!~ ~
1033 II,       XL   |               him call upon his Lord! verily, I fear that he will change
1034 II,       XL   |             land.'~ ~And Moses said, 'Verily, I take refuge in my Lord
1035 II,       XL   |               which he threatens you; verily, God guides not him who
1036 II,       XL   |          believed said, 'O my people! verily, I fear for you the like
1037 II,       XL   |            His servants. O my people! verily, I fear for you the day
1038 II,       XL   |             to the God of Moses, for, verily, I think him a liar.'~ ~[
1039 II,       XL   |               direction. O my people! verily, the life of this world
1040 II,       XL   |              is but a provision, but, verily, the hereafter, that is
1041 II,       XL   |             entrust my affair to God, verily, God looks upon His servants!'~ ~ ./. 
1042 II,       XL   |             who were big with pride, 'Verily, we were followers of yours,
1043 II,       XL   |            big with pride shall say, 'Verily, we are all in it; verily,
1044 II,       XL   |             Verily, we are all in it; verily, God has judged between
1045 II,       XL   |      misbelievers is only in error.~ ~Verily, we will help our apostles,
1046 II,       XL   |                Be thou patient, then; verily, God's promise is true:
1047 II,       XL   |            evening and in the morn.~ ~Verily, those who wrangle concerning
1048 II,       XL   |              then seek refuge in God; verily, He both hears and looks!~ ~
1049 II,       XL   |              it that they remember.~ ~Verily, the Hour will surely come;
1050 II,       XL   |           upon me, I will answer you; verily, those who are too big with
1051 II,       XL   |                and the day to see by; verily, God is Lord of grace to
1052 II,       XL   |           Lord of the worlds!~ ~Say, 'Verily, I am forbidden to serve
1053 II,       XL   |                  But be thou patient; verily, the promise of God is true;
1054 II,      XLI   |            there is a veil. Act thou; verily, we are acting too!' [5]
1055 II,      XLI   |              hereafter disbelieve!'~ ~Verily, those who believe and do
1056 II,      XLI   |              of ginns and of mankind; verily, they were the losers!~ ~[
1057 II,      XLI   |               who are put down!' [30] Verily, those who say, 'Our Lord
1058 II,      XLI   |            and does right, and says, 'Verily, I am of those resigned?'~ ~
1059 II,      XLI   |              then seek refuge in God; verily, He both hears and knows.~ ~
1060 II,      XLI   |               it it stirs and swells; verily, He who quickens it will
1061 II,      XLI   |              surely quicken the dead; verily, He is mighty over all.~ ~[
1062 II,      XLI   |               mighty over all.~ ~[40] Verily, those who are inclined
1063 II,      XLI   |    resurrection day? Do what ye will: verily, He on what ye do doth look.~ ~ ./. 
1064 II,      XLI   |               ye do doth look.~ ~ ./. Verily, those who misbelieve in
1065 II,      XLI   |            when it comes to them-and, verily, it is a glorious Book!
1066 II,      XLI   |            the apostles before thee, 'Verily, thy Lord is Lord of forgiveness
1067 II,      XLI   |           decided between them, for., verily, they were in hesitating
1068 II,      XLI   |              brought back to my Lord, verily, I shall surely have good
1069 II,      XLI   |              is witness over all? Ay, verily, they are in doubt about
1070 II,      XLI   |            meeting of their Lord! Ay, verily, He encompasses all!~ ~ ./. 
1071 II,     XLII   |             who are on the earth. Ay, verily, God, He is the forgiving
1072 II,     XLII   |             He will, or doles it out; verily, He knows everything.~ ~
1073 II,     XLII   |            decided between them; but, verily, those who have been given
1074 II,     XLII   |             know that it is true. Ay, verily, those who dispute concerning
1075 II,     XLII   |            have been decreed to them. Verily, the unjust,-for them is
1076 II,     XLII   |        increase good for him thereby; verily, God is forgiving and grateful!~ ~
1077 II,     XLII   |             verify truth by His word; verily, He knows the nature of
1078 II,     XLII   |              measure what He pleases; verily, of His servants He is well
1079 II,     XLII   |       motionless on the back thereof: verily, in that are signs to every
1080 II,     XLII   |               his reward is with God; verily, He loves not the unjust.
1081 II,     XLII   |              is patient and forgives,-verily, that is a determined affair 1.~ ~
1082 II,     XLII   |               who believe shall say, 'Verily, the losers are they who
1083 II,     XLII   |            the resurrection day!' Ay, verily, the unjust are in lasting
1084 II,     XLII   |             message to preach.~ ~And, verily, when we have made man taste
1085 II,     XLII   |          hands have done before-then, verily, man is ungrateful!~ ~God'
1086 II,     XLII   |               whom He pleases barren; verily, He is knowing, powerful!~ ~[
1087 II,     XLII   |          permission, what He pleases; verily, He is high and wise!~ ~
1088 II,     XLII   |            will of our servants. And, verily, thou shalt surely be guided
1089 II,    XLIII   |              By the perspicuous Book, verily, we have made it an Arabic
1090 II,    XLIII   |              got this ourselves; and, verily, unto our Lord shall we
1091 II,    XLIII   |               His servants offspring; verily, man is surely obviously
1092 II,    XLIII   |         agreed) upon a religion, and, verily, we are guided by their
1093 II,    XLIII   |          affluent ones thereof said, 'Verily, we found our fathers (agreed)
1094 II,    XLIII   |         agreed) upon a religion, and, verily, we are led by their traces.'~ ~
1095 II,    XLIII   |            upon?' and they will say, 'Verily, we in what ye are sent
1096 II,    XLIII   |               father and his people, 'Verily, I am clear of all that
1097 II,    XLIII   |              Him who created me; for, verily, He will guide me:' and
1098 II,    XLIII   |            recline; and gilding,-for, verily, all that is a provision
1099 II,    XLIII   |                     be his mate; and, verily, these shall turn them from
1100 II,    XLIII   |            day, since ye were unjust; verily, in the torment shall ye
1101 II,    XLIII   |              have promised them; for, verily, we have power over them.~ ~
1102 II,    XLIII   |               what is inspired thee?' verily, thou art in the right way,
1103 II,    XLIII   |            art in the right way, and, verily, it is a reminder to thee
1104 II,    XLIII   |             his chiefs, and he said, 'Verily, I am the apostle of the
1105 II,    XLIII   |             He has engaged with thee: verily, we are guided.'~ ~ ./. 
1106 II,    XLIII   |          levity; and they obeyed him: verily, they were an abominable
1107 II,    XLIII   |          earth to succeed you 3. And, verily, he is a sign of the Hour 4.
1108 II,    XLIII   |              the devil turn you away; verily, he is to you an open foe!~ ~
1109 II,    XLIII   |               then fear God, obey me; verily, God, He is my Lord and
1110 II,    XLIII   |               fruit whereof to eat.~ ~Verily, the sinners are in the
1111 II,    XLIII   |            end of us;' he shall say, 'Verily, ye are to tarry here.'~ ~
1112 II,    XLIII   |              what he 4 says, 'O Lord, verily, these are~ ~ ./. a people
1113 II,     XLIV   |              By the perspicuous Book! verily, we have sent it down on
1114 II,     XLIV   |              down on a blessed night;-verily, we had given warning-wherein
1115 II,     XLIV   |          affair, as an order from us. Verily, we were sending (apostles) - [
1116 II,     XLIV   |                a mercy from thy Lord; verily, He both hears and knows:
1117 II,     XLIV   |           remove from us the torment; verily, we are believers.~ ~How
1118 II,     XLIV   |              and said, 'Taught! mad!' Verily, we will remove the torment
1119 II,     XLIV   |               with the great assault, verily, we will take vengeance.~ ~
1120 II,     XLIV   |                    me God's servants; verily, I am to you a faithful
1121 II,     XLIV   |             not yourselves above God; verily, I come to you with obvious
1122 II,     XLIV   |               obvious authority. And, verily, I seek refuge in my Lord
1123 II,     XLIV   |             he called upon his Lord, 'Verily, these are a sinful people.'
1124 II,     XLIV   |             woe! - [30]-from Pharaoh; verily, he was haughty, one of
1125 II,     XLIV   |               was an obvious trial!~ ~Verily, these 1 say, 'It is but
1126 II,     XLIV   |               know it not!~ ~ ./. 40] Verily, the day of separation is
1127 II,     XLIV   |              God shall have mercy on; verily, He is the mighty, the merciful!~ ~
1128 II,     XLIV   |               mighty, the merciful!~ ~Verily, the Zaqqûm tree (shall
1129 II,     XLIV   |          torment of hot water!-Taste! verily, thou art the mighty, the
1130 II,     XLIV   |          mighty, the honourable! [50] Verily, this is that whereon ye
1131 II,     XLIV   |            whereon ye did dispute!'~ ~Verily, the pious shall be in a
1132 II,     XLIV   |            mindful. 'Then watch thou; verily, they are watching too!~ ~ ~ ~
1133 II,      XLV   |            God. the mighty, the wise. Verily, in the heavens and the~ ~ ./. 
1134 II,      XLV   |              the earth,-all from Him; verily, in that are signs unto
1135 II,      XLV   |            them, through mutual envy. Verily, thy Lord will decide between
1136 II,      XLV   |             of those who do not know. Verily, they shall not avail thee
1137 II,      XLV   |              against God at all; and, verily, the wrong-doers are patrons
1138 II,      XLV   |           speaketh to you with truth; verily, we have written down what
1139 II,      XLV   |                And when it was said, 'Verily, the promise of God is true,
1140 II,     XLVI   |               are too big with pride? Verily, God guides not the unjust
1141 II,     XLVI   |               to those who do well.~ ~Verily, those who say, 'Our Lord
1142 II,     XLVI   |               for me in my offspring; verily, I turn repentant unto Thee,
1143 II,     XLVI   |             repentant unto Thee, and, verily, I am of those resigned.'~ ~[
1144 II,     XLVI   |           help. Woe to thee! Believe! Verily, the promise of God is true.
1145 II,     XLVI   |         before them of ginns and men; verily, they have been the losers;
1146 II,     XLVI   |             Serve not other than God; verily, I fear for you the torment
1147 II,     XLVI   |             Said they, 'O our people! verily, we have heard a book sent
1148 II,     XLVI   |             to quicken the dead?-nay, verily, He is mighty over all!~ ~
1149 II,    XLVII   |        misbelievers have no patron.~ ~Verily, God causes those who believe
1150 II,    XLVII   |            locks upon their hearts?~ ~Verily, those who turn their backs
1151 II,    XLVII   |             reports concerning you.~ ~Verily, those who misbelieve and
1152 II,    XLVII   |           make not your works vain.~ ~Verily, those who misbelieve and
1153 II,   XLVIII   |              and compassionate God.~ ~Verily, we have given thee an obvious
1154 II,   XLVIII   |            and God is mighty, wise!~ ~Verily, we have sent thee as a
1155 II,   XLVIII   |           morning and evening!~ ~[10] Verily, those who swear allegiance
1156 II,   XLVIII   |            the vision 3 that ye shall verily enter the Sacred Mosque,
1157 II,     XLIX   |            His Apostle, but fear God; verily, God both hears and knows.~ ~
1158 II,     XLIX   |               do not perceive.~ ~ ./. Verily, those who lower their voice
1159 II,     XLIX   |      forgiveness and a mighty hire.~ ~Verily, those who cry out to thee
1160 II,     XLIX   |             with equity, and be just; verily, God loves the just.~ ~[
1161 II,     XLIX   |            carefully avoid suspicion; verily, some suspicion is a sin.
1162 II,     XLIX   |              abhor it! then fear God; verily, God is relentant, compassionate.~ ~
1163 II,     XLIX   |           compassionate.~ ~O ye folk! verily, we have created you of
1164 II,     XLIX   |             ye may know each other.~ ~Verily, the most honourable of
1165 II,     XLIX   |             is the most pious of you; verily, God is knowing, aware!~ ~ ./. 
1166 II,     XLIX   |             you of your works at all: verily, God is forgiving, compassionate!'~ ~[
1167 II,     XLIX   |             ye do speak the truth!'~ ~Verily, God knows the unseen things
1168 II,        L   |                is there any refuge 1? Verily, in that is a reminder to
1169 II,        L   |            the day of coming forth!~ ~Verily, we quicken and we kill,
1170 II,       LI   |      distributors 4 of affairs! - [5] verily, what ye are threatened
1171 II,       LI   |           with is surely true!~ ~And, verily, the judgment will surely
1172 II,       LI   |            heaven possessed of paths; verily, ye are at variance in what
1173 II,       LI   |          wished to hasten on!'~ ~[15] Verily, the pious are in gardens
1174 II,       LI   |               their Lord brings them. Verily, they before that did well.
1175 II,       LI   |             the heaven and the earth! verily, it is the truth,-like that
1176 II,       LI   |            messengers?'~ ~They said, 'Verily, we are sent unto a sinful
1177 II,       LI   |               people of Noah of yore; verily, they were an abominable
1178 II,       LI   |             built it with might, and, verily, we do surely give it ample
1179 II,       LI   |                 50] Flee then to God; verily, I am a plain warner from
1180 II,       LI   |             set with God another god; verily, I am a plain warner from
1181 II,       LI   |                  55] And remind; for, verily, the reminder shall profit
1182 II,       LI   |               wish them to feed me.~ ~Verily, God, He is the provider,
1183 II,       LI   |          endowed with steady might.~ ~Verily, for those who injure (the
1184 II,      LII   |                  by the swelling sea! verily, the torment of thy Lord
1185 II,      LII   |              that which ye did do!'~ ~Verily, the pious (shall be) in
1186 II,      LII   |            questions, and shall say, 'Verily, we were before amidst our
1187 II,      LII   |              of the hot blast.~ ~ ./. Verily, we used to call on Him
1188 II,      LII   |           used to call on Him before; verily, He is the righteous, the
1189 II,      LII   |           shall not be helped!~ ~And, verily, there is a torment beside
1190 II,     LIII   |           will and is pleased with!~ ~Verily, those who believe not in
1191 II,     LIII   |            but follow suspicion, and, verily, suspicion shall not avail
1192 II,     LIII   |               their sum of knowledge; verily, thy Lord knows best who
1193 II,     LIII   |                all but venial faults,-verily, thy Lord is of ample forgiveness;
1194 II,     LIII   |           people of Noah before them,-verily, they were most unjust and
1195 II,      LIV   |             he called upon his Lord, 'Verily, I am overcome, come then
1196 II,      LIV   |          punishment and my warning?~ ~Verily, we sent on them a cold
1197 II,      LIV   |           about the insolent liar!~ ~'Verily, we are about to send the
1198 II,      LIV   |            punishment and my warning? Verily, we sent against them one
1199 II,      LIV   |            called the apostles liars; verily, we sent against them a
1200 II,      LIV   |             most severe and bitter!~ ~Verily, the sinners are in error
1201 II,      LIV   |              ye the touch of hell.'~ ~Verily, everything have we created
1202 II,      LIV   |              great is written down.~ ~Verily, the pious shall be amid
1203 II,      LVI   |       forbidden;~ And beds upraised!~ Verily, we have produced them 3
1204 II,      LVI   |           Neither cool nor generous!~ Verily, they were affluent ere
1205 II,      LVI   |              fathers of yore?'~ Say, 'Verily, those of yore and those
1206 II,      LVI   |              would pause to marvel:~ 'Verily, we have got into debt 1
1207 II,      LVI   |              of the stars;~ [75] and, verily, it is a grand oath if ye
1208 II,      LVI   |             if ye did but~ know-that, verily, this is the honourable
1209 II,      LVI   |               broiling in hell!~ [95] Verily, this is surely certain
1210 II,     LVII   |         darkness into the light; for, verily, God to you is kind, compassionate!~ ~[
1211 II,     LVII   |             ye may have some sense!~ ~Verily, those who give in charity,
1212 II,     LVII   |               before we created them; verily, that is easy unto God.~ ~
1213 II,     LVII   |               whoso turns his back 1, verily, God is rich, praiseworthy.~ ~[
1214 II,     LVII   |               His apostles in secret; verily, God is strong and mighty!~ ~
1215 II,    LVIII   |            and God hears your gossip; verily, God both hears and sees.~ ~
1216 II,    LVIII   |             who gave them birth; and, verily, they speak a wrong speech
1217 II,    LVIII   |           wrong speech and a false.~ ~Verily, God both pardons and forgives.
1218 II,    LVIII   |       misbelievers is grievous woe!~ ~Verily, those who oppose God and
1219 II,    LVIII   |            upon the resurrection day; verily, God all things doth know!~ ~
1220 II,    LVIII   |              prepared severe torment; verily, evil is it they have done!~ ~
1221 II,    LVIII   |            they rest on somewhat.-Ay, verily, they are liars!~ ~[20]
1222 II,    LVIII   |                they are the losers!~ ~Verily, those who oppose God and
1223 II,    LVIII   |          prevail, I and my apostles;' verily, God is strong and mighty!~ ~
1224 II,      LIX   |               and whoso op-poses God, verily, God is keen to punish!~ ~[
1225 II,      LIX   |            desist from; and fear God, verily, God is keen to punish!~ ~
1226 II,      LIX   |           those who believe-our Lord! verily, thou art kind, compassionate!'~ ~
1227 II,      LIX   |             he disbelieved, he said, 'Verily, I am clear of thee! Verily,
1228 II,      LIX   |           Verily, I am clear of thee! Verily, I fear God the Lord of
1229 II,      LIX   |             the morrow; and fear God; verily, God is well aware of what
1230 II,       LX   |           they said to their people, 'Verily, we are clear of you and
1231 II,       LX   |               Abraham to his father, 'Verily, I will ask forgiveness
1232 II,       LX   |             but forgive us! Our Lord! verily, thou art mighty, wise!~ ~
1233 II,       LX   |             But whoso turns his back, verily, God, He is rich and to
1234 II,       LX   |              and justly towards them; verily, God loves the just!~ ~He
1235 II,       LX   |          forgiveness for them of God;-verily, God is forgiving, compassionate.~ ~
1236 II,      LXI   |            say what ye do not.~ ~ ./. Verily, God loves those who fight
1237 II,      LXI   |                 O children of Israel! verily, I am the apostle of God
1238 II,     LXII   |             knows the unjust.~ ~Say, 'Verily, the death from which ye
1239 II,    LXIII   |            God will not forgive them; verily, God guides not a people
1240 II,     LXIV   |             rely!~ ~O ye who believe! verily, among your wives and children
1241 II,     LXIV   |             overlook it, and forgive,-verily, God is forgiving, compassionate!~ ~[
1242 II,      LXV   |             He is sufficient for him: verily, God will attain His purpose:-
1243 II,     LXVI   |            each other up against him,-verily, God, He is the sovereign;
1244 II,     LXVI   |              our light and forgive us verily, Thou art mighty over all!'~ ~ ./. 
1245 II,    LXVII   |              fellows of the blaze!'~ ~Verily, those who fear their Lord
1246 II,    LXVII   |          Speak ye secretly or openly, verily, He knows the nature of
1247 II,   LXVIII   |             by God's grace, mad! and, verily, thine is a hire that is
1248 II,   LXVIII   |              is not grudged! [5] and, verily, thou art of a grand nature 2!~ ~
1249 II,   LXVIII   |              you is the infatuated.~ ~Verily, thy Lord He knows best
1250 II,   LXVIII   |             brand him on the snout!~ ~Verily, we have tried them as we
1251 II,   LXVIII   |               they saw it they said, 'Verily, we have erred! Nay, we
1252 II,   LXVIII   |              the praises of our Lord! verily, we were unjust!'~ ~[30]
1253 II,   LXVIII   |              Said they, 'O woe to us! verily, we have been outrageous!
1254 II,   LXVIII   |             instead a better than it; verily, we unto our Lord do yearn,'~ ~ ./. 
1255 II,   LXVIII   |             Thus is the torment, but, verily, the torment of the hereafter
1256 II,   LXVIII   |        greater, if ye did but know!~ ~Verily, for the pious with their
1257 II,     LXIX   |               excessive punishment.~ ~Verily, we, when the water surged,
1258 II,     LXIX   |           take and read my book. [20] Verily, I thought that I should
1259 II,     LXIX   |             seventy cubits force him! verily, he believed not in the
1260 II,     LXIX   |               do~ ~ ./. not see, [40] verily, it is the speech of a noble
1261 II,     LXIX   |               kept us off from him.~ ~Verily, it is a memorial to the
1262 II,     LXIX   |           memorial to the pious; and, verily, we know that there are
1263 II,     LXIX   |            say it is a lie; [50] and, verily, it is a source of sighing
1264 II,     LXIX   |             to the misbelievers; and, verily, it is certain truth!~ ~
1265 II,      LXX   |           patient with fair patience; verily, they see it as afar off,
1266 II,      LXX   |               rescue him!~ ~[15] Nay, verily, it is a flame,-dragging
1267 II,      LXX   |            who amassed and hoarded!~ ~Verily, man is by nature rash 2! [
1268 II,      LXX   |            the torment of their Lord;-verily, the torment of their Lord
1269 II,      LXX   |            the easts and the wests 2; verily, we are able to change them
1270 II,     LXXI   |              and compassionate God.~ ~Verily, we sent Noah to his people, '
1271 II,     LXXI   |                Said he, 'O my people! verily, I am to you an obvious
1272 II,     LXXI   |               unto an appointed time; verily, God's~ ~ ./. appointed
1273 II,     LXXI   |                 5] Said he, 'My Lord! verily, I have called my people
1274 II,     LXXI   |         increase them in flight; and, verily, every time I called them,
1275 II,     LXXI   |             forgiveness of your Lord, verily, He is very forgiving. [
1276 II,     LXXI   |              20] Said Noah, 'My Lord! verily, they have rebelled against
1277 II,     LXXI   |          dweller of the misbelievers. Verily, Thou, if Thou shouldst
1278 II,    LXXII   |               one with our Lord, for, verily, He-may the majesty of our

1304 II,    LXXVI   |               of them in their stead. Verily, this is a memorial, and
1305 II,    LXXVI   |             please except God please! Verily, God is knowing, wise.~ ~
1306 II,   LXXVII   |               an excuse or warning!~ ~Verily, what ye are threatened
1307 II,   LXXVII   |              avail against the flame! Verily, it throws off sparks like
1308 II,   LXXVII   |          those who say it is a lie!~ ~Verily, the pious are amid shades
1309 II,   LXXVII   |             that which ye have done!' Verily, thus do we reward those
1310 II,   LXXVII   |              yourselves for a little; verily, ye are sinners!'~ ~Woe
1311 II,  LXXVIII   |            gardens thickly planted?~ ~Verily, the day of decision is
1312 II,  LXXVIII   |             shall be like a mirage!~ ~Verily, hell is an ambuscade; a
1313 II,  LXXVIII   |              and pus;-a fit reward!~ ~Verily, they did not hope for the
1314 II,  LXXVIII   |             increase your torment!'~ ~Verily, for the pious is a blissful
1315 II,  LXXVIII   |          resort unto his Lord!~ ~[40] Verily, we have warned you of a
1316 II,    LXXIX   |               Tuvâ, 'Go unto Pharaoh, verily, he is outrageous; and say, "
1317 II,    LXXIX   |             life and of the former.~ ~Verily, in that is a lesson to
1318 II,    LXXIX   |               the life of this world, verily, hell is the resort!~ ~[
1319 II,    LXXIX   |        prohibited his soul from lust, verily, Paradise is the resort!~ ~
1320 II,     LXXX   |             thou art diverted!~ ~Nay! verily, it is a memorial; and whoso
1321 II,     LXXX   |             look unto his foods. [25] Verily, we have poured the water
1322 II,    LXXXI   |           when it first breathes up!~ Verily, it is the speech of a noble
1323 II,   LXXXII   |               they know what ye do!~ ~Verily, the righteous are in pleasure,
1324 II,   LXXXII   |       righteous are in pleasure, and, verily, the wicked are in hell; [
1325 II,  LXXXIII   |            Lord of the worlds!~ ~Nay, verily, the book of the wicked
1326 II,  LXXXIII   |             upon their hearts.~ ~Nay, verily, [15] from their Lord on
1327 II,  LXXXIII   |            are they veiled; and then, verily, they shall broil in hell;
1328 II,  LXXXIII   |               did call a lie!'~ ~Nay, verily, the book of the righteous
1329 II,  LXXXIII   |               God shall witness it.~ ~Verily, the righteous shall be
1330 II,  LXXXIII   |            nigh to God shall drink.~ ~Verily, those who sin do laugh
1331 II,  LXXXIII   |              they see them they say, 'Verily, these do go astray!'-but
1332 II,   LXXXIV   |              and is dutiful!~ ~O man! verily, thou art toiling after
1333 II,   LXXXIV   |               shall broil in a blaze! Verily, he was amongst his family
1334 II,   LXXXIV   |            amongst his family joyful. Verily, he thought that he should
1335 II,   LXXXIV   |            return to God.~ ~[15] Yea, verily, his Lord on him did look!~
1336 II,    LXXXV   |              witness over all!~ ~[10] Verily, those who make trial of
1337 II,    LXXXV   |             torment of the burning!~ ~Verily, those who believe and act
1338 II,    LXXXV   |            that is the great bliss!~ ~Verily, the violence of thy Lord
1339 II,    LXXXV   |       violence of thy Lord is keen!~ ~Verily, He produces and returns,
1340 II,   LXXXVI   |             of piercing brightness.~ ~Verily, every soul has a guardian
1341 II,   LXXXVI   |             and the breast bones 1.~ ~Verily, He is able to send him
1342 II,   LXXXVI   |           earth with its sprouting!~ ~Verily, it is indeed a distinguishing
1343 II,   LXXXVI   |               is no frivolity!~ ~[15] Verily, they do plot a plot!~ ~
1344 II,  LXXXVII   |                save what God pleases. Verily, He knows the open and what
1345 II,  LXXXVII   |                wherefore remind, for, verily, the reminder is useful.~ ~[
1346 II,  LXXXVII   |            better and more lasting.~ ~Verily, this was in the books of
1347 II, LXXXVIII   |              greatest torment.~ ~[25] Verily, unto us is their return,
1348 II, LXXXVIII   |              us is their return, and, verily, for us is their account!~ ~ ~ ~
1349 II,   LXXXIX   |             the scourge of torment.~ ~Verily, thy Lord is on a watch
1350 II,     XCII   |             created male and female!~ Verily, your efforts are diverse!~ ~ ./. 
1351 II,     XCII   |              falls down (into hell)!~ Verily, it is for us to guide;~
1352 II,     XCII   |             is for us to guide;~ And, verily, ours are the hereafter
1353 II,     XCIV   |             for thee thy renown?~ [5] Verily, with difficulty is ease!
1354 II,     XCIV   |              with difficulty is ease! verily, with difficulty is ease!~
1355 II,     XCVI   |           what he did not know!~ Nay, verily, man is indeed outrageous
1356 II,     XCVI   |             seeing himself get rich!~ Verily, unto thy Lord is the return!~
1357 II,    XCVII   |               and compassionate God.~ Verily, we sent it down on the
1358 II,   XCVIII   |              standard religion.~ ~[5] Verily, those who disbelieve amongst
1359 II,   XCVIII   |             are wretched creatures!~ ~Verily, those who believe and act
1360 II,        C   |              through a host therein!~ Verily, man is to his Lord ungrateful;
1361 II,        C   |             his Lord ungrateful; and, verily, he is a witness of that.~
1362 II,        C   |             he is a witness of that.~ Verily, he is keen in his love
1363 II,        C   |         breasts is brought to light?~ Verily, thy Lord upon that day
1364 II,     CIII   |              God.~ ~By the afternoon! verily, man is in loss! save~ ~ ./. 
1365 II,      CIV   |               rises above the hearts. Verily, it is an archway over them
1366 II,    CVIII   |               and compassionate God.~ Verily, we have given thee El KâuTHar 3;
1367 II,    CVIII   |             and slaughter (victims).~ Verily, he who hates thee shall
1368 II,       CX   |               ask forgiveness of Him, verily, He is relentant!~ ~
