Part, Sura

 1  I          |   distress.~ ~Unable to contend openly with so many and such powerful
 2  I          |     ties from going over to him openly.~ ~Abdallâh ibn Ubai was
 3  I          |    asked Moses to show them God openly and were punished. They
 4  I,       II|     night and day, secretly and openly, they shall have their hire
 5  I,       IV|         they said, 'Show us God openly;' but the thunderbolt caught
 6  I,       VI|       come upon you suddenly or openly, would any perish save the
 7  I,       VI|         then they may abuse God openly in their ignorance. So do
 8  I,      VII|       humbly and with fear, not openly in words, in the morning
 9  I,       IX|        devour the wealth of men openly, and turn folk from God'
10  I,     XIII| bestowed upon them secretly and openly, and ward off evil with
11  I,      XVI|  therefrom in alms secretly and openly:-shall they be held equal?-
12 II,     XVII|      And do not say thy prayers openly, nor yet murmur them, but
13 II,      XXI|         He knows what is spoken openly, and He knows what ye hide.~ ~
14 II,    LXVII|            Speak ye secretly or openly, verily, He knows the nature
15 II,     LXXI|       pride. Then I called them openly; then I published to them
