1001 II,   LXXXIX   |        wickedness therein, and thy Lord poured out upon them the
1002 II,   LXXXIX   |          of torment.~ ~Verily, thy Lord is on a watch tower! and
1003 II,   LXXXIX   |           as for man, whenever his Lord tries him and honours him
1004 II,   LXXXIX   |             then [15] he says, 'My Lord has honoured me;' but whenever
1005 II,   LXXXIX   |     subsistence, then he says, 'My Lord despises me!'~ ~Nay, but
1006 II,   LXXXIX   |         crushed to pieces, and thy Lord comes with the angels, rank
1007 II,   LXXXIX   |    comforted soul! return unto thy Lord, well pleased and well pleased
1008 II,       XC   |            I need not swear by the Lord of this land 1, and thou
1009 II,      XCI   |          ham-strung her; but their Lord destroyed them in their
1010 II,     XCII   |            craving the face of his Lord most High; in the end he
1011 II,    XCIII   |       night when it darkens!~ ~Thy Lord has not forsaken thee, nor
1012 II,    XCIII   |              5] and in the end thy Lord will give thee, and thou
1013 II,    XCIII   |           as for the favour of thy Lord discourse thereof.~ ~
1014 II,     XCIV   |     leisure then toil, and for thy Lord do thou yearn!~ ~ ~ ~
1015 II,     XCVI   |           READ, in the name of thy Lord!~ Who created man from congealed
1016 II,     XCVI   |    congealed blood!~ Read, for thy Lord is most generous!~ [5] Who
1017 II,     XCVI   |            rich!~ Verily, unto thy Lord is the return!~ Hast thou
1018 II,    XCVII   |            the permission of their Lord with every bidding.~ [5]
1019 II,   XCVIII   |            their reward with their Lord is gardens of Eden, beneath
1020 II,   XCVIII   |           is for him who fears his Lord!~ ~
1021 II,     XCIX   |           tidings, [5] because thy Lord inspires her.~ On the day
1022 II,        C   |              Verily, man is to his Lord ungrateful; and, verily,
1023 II,        C   |     brought to light?~ Verily, thy Lord upon that day indeed is
